finally, it ended.

actually it ended yesterday

but a few of my course mates have exams today. so heck, we have to wait for them to celebrate. lol.

n so we went to China City( i think tat's the name of the place) to have dim sum

this was the 1st time i have dim sum in brisbane.

never had before, n i dun think i will have anymore of em.. cos it's pricey, n it does not taste as good as the one i had in msia. not nice not nice.

i love dim sums. i HEART dim sums.. *hint* *hint*

i also like fried lobak with extra chili. simply my fave.

anywayz, there's something else to celebrate as well. it's heidi's birthday today :) happy birthday gurl~~

we ordered a lot, especially me.. :P n i think i ate most of em. :P n i'm still not full yet haha..i think i gained a few kilos lately. sad.

sheesh, this sem's exam is really tough

today's medical physiology is my worst exam ever. like ever.

totally have no idea for some SAQ.

actually wrote the F word on the question paper.

totally annoyed.

left the room 30 minutes before the exam ended.

i am not the only one who thinks that the paper was tough,

many complained to me as well.

oh wtf, it's over, n so, i shall not say anymore...

been wanting to take the pictures of the jacaranda plant ever since it bloomed during spring. it's summer now, n the flowers are beginning to wilt. T_T so today, after studying + plurking in uni, i went to take some pics of the jacaranda plant. i think it's really pretty, especially when it just bloomed.

i had no idea wat's the plant name and so i asked sarah. n she told me it's called the Exam Plant, as they only bloom during exam periods. LOL. wat la.. haha. J.P then told me it's actually called Jacaranda. :)

here i am, blogging again :)

soo hui told me bout a good msian resto at mary st, and so just the other day, i brought sarah there to try out their msian food. I MISS MSIAN FOOD A LOT K, U HAVE NO IDEA. the 1st thing that crossed my mind when i read the menu was, wtf, so *@&$(@ expensive. bout $10 roughly for any main meal. for example: a bowl of hor fun/ char kuew teao/ laksa n etc. EEEEEeeeeEEE i wan cheap msian food. T_T although it was pricey, it is sure worth it! tasted exactly (well, nearly there), like those i had in msia. :) i had hor fun while sarah had laksa. definitely a great place to have nice msian food :) n they have free sambal as well. OOOooOO i miss sambal loads loads. :) n free ice water. +_+ oo.. did i mentioned the place is owned by msians as well? :) very good business lu..

it's a WASH BAG!!!

i bought it yesterday when i was walking aimlessly in the queen st mall. didn't know wat it was . so i asked the sales gurl, and she told me it's to put my undergarments inside, to ensure that they do not tangle with my other clothing.

i have no idea that there's such bag, k? i'm like damn sua ku, rite? i was always taught by my traditional mom to handwash my undergarments, so i have no idea. but sometimes( ok most of the time) i'm lazy, so i'll just put em in the washing machine, but they do get tangle a lot n it's damn frustrating. so thank god for this bag. lovely, hey?:) cost just $6. cheap~ n i love the butterfly design :)

sorry ya, tot of changing the template n etc. but very time consuming, so i gonna forget it for now . lol

been down in the dumps lately, n it's my 1 week holidays for god sake. i can't even have a break!

have 2 blardy assignments that due on friday and 3 test next week. wtf. this sem is totally hell.

on a happier note, i am the crew person of the quarter :) which is really huge. bigger than the crew person of the month. i got a 50 dollar visa card =-='' yah.. 50 dollar oni.., a $30 myer and coles vouchers, and maybe another mc d card. LOL. =-= i seriously am very bored of mc d food. never a fan of burgers. only love mc d fries. n fish. n bacon. ya everything except for the bun actually..

ya so.. i'm pretty happy that i got the title, cos i'm only a casual worker in mc d, and so. it's really . overwhelming u c. :) my name will be on the mc d white board for the next 3 months. lol. omygosh. so i said, so huge. ppl will like ask, who's jaecy? lol. =-= okok moving on... my pay also increased!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by.. one dollar. =-= like freaking one dollar oni~ all the stupid rumors saying it will increase 2-3 dollars are all lies=-= made me happy for no apparent reason!! =-= but okla. now 18.4 dollar per hour. :) but still need to work many hours cos my rent has increased as well. so like, no difference. haiz

btw, i've already applied to study dietetics a few days ago. hope i'm fortunate enough to get into dietetics. :) well, if all goes well, i will be studying for another 2 years. not sure if that's wat i want though. u do know wat i want rite? but it's impossible. :) .. 2 years. it's feel so long. the 1st year when i was year, time passes so fast. i was so enjoying my 1st year here. but now, it's different. totally different. maybe it's just this year?... i hope so.. .. T_T

btw, my blog won't be updating a lot, so tune into www.miraclesinmylife.blogspot.com , a coursemate of mine who blogs EVERYDAY. lol. well, almost. n 4-5 post ago, she blogged bout our outing in chermside n DFO. so go n read it, if u wanna c my face LOL. just one though. lol

a few weeks back, after class, me, sarah n cindy went for a stroll in the city. if i'm not mistaken, we actually had a terrible week because of the never ending tests/exams. so we decided to go to the city to relax, go for window shopping at least. was so eager to show cindy the nine west bag that i really liked. when we finally got there, i tried carrying the white bag, n sadly, it didn't look good on me. it's lil too big n squarish. been wanting the bag for weeks, n finally, a sigh of relief, cos i finally realized it didn't match me at allz, so the bag can stop haunting me now. lol .

not sure where we had lunch.. but certainly remember that it was drizzling and we went to starbux to have a drink n chill~ i vividly remember that sarah had strawberry cream, while i n cindy had green tea, but mine is a lil more special n FATTENING, with a few pumps of raspberry conc and cream. :) delish! it's my fave drink in starbux. it's not my recipe of cos, it was introduced in msia, n it was love at first sip. :) nyams!

my memory damn good k? can remember all the drinks we had. well..,the fact that i took a pic of the drinks, helps .. a lil =-='' y am i so lame? *dang*

been reading the tags that my friends did, n i realized i'm the only one who is unhappy with myself/ my life. but it's true, be in my shoes and u'll get what i mean. i know u guys will think, omygod given the opportunity to study in Australia, still complain so much. but hey, u don't know how pressured i am here. i have to juggle both work and study. my parents only give me very lil $$ , not even enough to pay my rent, so u can forget bout shopping n any activities that needs $$, such as spending time with friends, watching movies, going clubbing n such.

n i really tried to study n work very hard this sem. n was a lil emo for the past few days, because my metabolism results were terrible, a 4 in fact,n the worst part is that, i really studied very hard for it, n even finished studying it 2 days before the exam. maybe i was too confident? i wasn't expecting much, a 5 would be good. but no, this is the worst result for my mid semester. it made me think twice, if i should stop working. however, the thought of quiting my job vanished, as soon as i got my exercise physio and medical physio results. although i did very well for that two subjects, meta results still haunts me.

i have never regret about my choice to study in australia. i met many new friends, ppl here are incredible nice, know how to use eftpos, know how to take busses n trains in aussie, experienced many things .....that i can't seem to mention any at the moment =_=, n also, if i didn't go to aussie, i would never have that 8 months with calvin. i like australia. really. just that. i hope. studying here is not that expensive lor. lol. it's really *#&$*(#&($*@&(* expensive.

okla. suppose to just blog bout mooncakes. =-= but felt a lil emo, n started typing incessantly.=-=

today, as i woke up, i felt like my normal self. went to city and was a lil hungry. wasn't in the mood to have anything greasy today as i had a bag of Smith's potato chips last nite. so opted for sushi instead. after eating the 2nd piece of sushi, i know something is wrong with me. my tummy felt unwell, n i was feeling a lil light headed.

oh shit, i remembered this feeling. it's the combination of the experience that i had when i was on the airasia flight n also.. the time i fainted when i was with calv in sunway pyramid. F*** i said to myself. why today? why now? quickly i left my seat, n rushed to the nearest toilet, n throw up.

=-= i felt like i'm bulemic wei. but haha. not thin also :P so not bulemic la k?

after throwing up, i felt a lil better. was determined to go to uni no matter wat., because there is a mini quiz today, n i already studied for it!!! T_T so i continued walking to city. n every 3 minutes i'll stopped n rest on the benches along the streets. n when reached the free loop stop in GP, i finally couldn't suppress my migraine n tummy upset any longer n called calv. from the call, i can know he's very worried bout me :) n asked me to go home instead of doing the test. T_T cindy told me the same thing ... BUT BUT .. i kept telling them that i'm just a few walks away from uni. T_T. after contemplating for a while, i decided to go home. haih.

told sarah n agnes bout my terrible condition . n was surprised that the both of them were so caring until the extent that they were willing to come to my house to visit me, just to know how i was doin. mind u, sarah's bus only come once every hour in my area, n agnes has this counseling assignment that is due next week. so i'm really touched . seriously

and when they reached my place, i was given these!!! :) *heart meltz* n also porridge :) didn't take a pic of it, was busy eating lol..

n to repay the both of em, i bought mc d for em. hehe.. i also bought myself a mc chicken for dinner. n was surprised to c a large fries in my paper bag :) *beams* thanx wei wei. but i can't eat em, so i gave it to my housemates.

n the continuous sms-es/calls by calvin, junior, betty and cindy made me realized that i have nice friends. i felt wanted, i felt loved, n felt that i'm not alone. :) thank you. i love peeps loads.

weeeeeeeeee!! finally finish 3 papers!!! omy!! been longing for this day to come.. n finally weee!!!! *beams* u have no idea, k? been studying like crazy for the past few weeks, have been going to uni every SINGLE day ever since 2 weeks ago. ( including weekends) . phew~ hope my hard work pays off. :) SO HAPPY!

but.. yes there is a but. i have another paper to go which is 2 weeks away. before u go "chieWWWWW, so long summore wat", let me explain to u guys bout wat my schedule will be like in the next couple of weeks. first n foremost, i will need to study for the Nutrition Science exam(which contains 90% SAQ) 2ndly, i will need start on my assignments, 2 in fact, that are due on the same day, on the week after my mini-one-week sem break ( T_T ) N OH! how can i forget. i have another exam on that week as well. (wtf)

week 11 is a disaster!!! T_T *sigh* not to mention, i need to squeeze in some time to study n work as well.. how pathetic. who says uni life is fun? crap.

ok enough emo-ing. remember that i said that i have good news in my previous post? prolly u should know by now because of ron's comment :P

omygosh. just did my medical physio 2 exam n it was quite horrible. it's not that it's hard or confusing. but my mind totally went blank when i saw the short answer questions. it's hard to describe, somehow my brain didn't work as efficient as it was a few minutes before the exam started. i was so confident that i will do very well for this paper n i tot nothing will go wrong. but it did. now i just hope that i have better marks for my mcq to compensate for my terrible saq.HAI

well, one down, 2 more to go. T_T

i've got a good news as well. not telling until i upload the pics. (nicer entry ma, rite). those ppl who reads my msn nick will know wat's the good news about :)

riverfest was so special last year. this year however, was a massive disappointment. prolly it's due to the shortage of sponsors, hence lack of $$ to create a better firework display. really disappointing lor. they only have 1 fire jet instead of 2, the blob of fire that i mentioned in my blog last year.T_T n the waterfall fireworks only last for a short while , a few sec probably. n i can't really see it this year cos they only put em on one side of the bridge instead of both sides of the bridge. disappointed. also, the wrong song choices. last year's songs were so compatible with the fireworks. this year.. i have no idea why, they put on some freaking weird oprah songs during a certain part of the fireworks show. just imagine. the awkwardness. the only part that i like during the fireworks display was when they played the song.. not sure wat's the band n title of the song but it's quite famous. it goes like this.. I'm in love WHOOO i'm in love WHOOO..n during that part of the song, couples of red love shaped fireworks lit up the sky. :) that's the only memorable thing that happened yesterday. opps. did i mention it was yesterday? lol. okla. pics below. enjoy. no fireworks pics though. camera ain't that good. :)

i gotta blog bout sis's wedding today. it's way long overdue already. sorry for the lack of updates lately. i used to blog so often last year. haih this year, not only it's hectic, it's pretty dull at the same time.

LOL.must be wondering y i skipped day 2 to 4. reason is.. because.. =-= my internet at home is(n still is) very sucky n so i went to uni yesterday to upload my pics. today however, i found out that i only uploaded the day 4 n 5 photos only. *dang* but since i only took a few pics on day 4, i tot i should not blog bout it yet.. until i get my hands on calv's photos for that nite.

so skipskipskip till day 5 LOL

on day 5, i was in calv's place. we woke up very early in the morning as we want to spend more time together before i fly back to brissie that nite, at approximately 9pm. clueless of where to, calv decided to bring me to Aquaria KLCC since the both of us have never been there before. n both of us are animal lovers, so we sort of like this kind of stuffs. lol.

so btw, we got a lil sesat in KLCC. we couldn't seem to find the entrance to the Aquaria building. =-='it was so funny lor. the both of us kept going to the wrong direction, climbing so many staircases, n the most frustrating part was that we couldn't open any doors to get into the building. the guard tried to help us too, but to no avail. didn't know why during that time, the both of us weren't really worried, but kept joking bout it, laughing out loud, teasing each other, saying whose fault it was. but eventually we found our way to the aquaria. :) it was a fun experience la. :P

i didn't take many pics in the aquaria actually, like the sea creatures, the turtles, reptiles, frogs, n so on. but calvin did. so check calvin's blog when he blogged bout it, yea? think he blog very slow wan.. so be patient. slower than me.. +_+ i did however, took pics in the gift shop in aquaria. dunno la. the both of us damn camwhore k. didn't care wat ppl think. we just SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT only. ahha =-='' felt like we own the store oni. =-=

after our visit to aquaria klcc, we went to KLCC shopping mall~ nothing to buy there lo. too expensive already. did u know that i did not buy any clothes during my 5 days in msia? my schedule was too hectic that i didn't have the time to buy any stuffs, except for my necessities such my G1 pen! T_T aussie dun sell G1 pen lor. it's my fave pen ever. :) n um, printer ink. cos aussie printer ink too ex jor. n that's all i guess. n a few maggie mee.. dun get me wrong, aussie got maggie mee too.. but it does not taste the same as the one in msia. taste a lil bland. n they don't have curry n tomyam flavor also. ppl here seriously cannot eat hot. T_T i miss sambal!!!

so erm, with nothing to buy, we went to hunt for food instead. haha. so many things i wanna eat, but i can only choose one. =-='' n we ended up in sushi king. haha i know i know . damn weird rite. haha but the thing is, calv and i have never eaten sushi TOGETHER before. n he promised me eons ago that he'll eat sushi with me. so oklo. sushi that is. cos i was a lil fickle minded with the food choices as well. lol. T_T i miss msian food arh.

after lunch, we went to hunt for scientific calculator n the batteries as i promised sarah that i'll get them for her. BUT. klcc where got sell such things wan rite? =-='' failed to find em, i bought her a small gift and a 6-pack tomyam maggie instead. lol

with nothing else to do, we walked around klcc aimlessly.. untill... we spotted a Secret Recipe outlet!! :) i miss secret recipe cakes. really proud of the msian owner who opened secret recipe. :) actually i wasn't really hungry, so the both of us tot we should order one cake only. so many choices to choose from. were undecided till calv told me he wanted to try the durian cake. only available for a limited time. so y not? haha. never tried durian cake before. :) n it was... erm.. not terrible lar.. just very durian-ish! =-= i can tell u that it's 100% real durian inside the cake. lol. smelly breath after having the cake :/

DAY 1

on the plane.. i was feeling nauseous . must be the pak naser nasi lemak i had on the plane. it was good though. hate sitting on the plane for 8 hours. freaking boring, can? actually airasia isn't that bad. but the need to purchase everything on the plane, kinda pisses me off. meaning if i need a glass of water, i need to buy their spritzer mineral instead, which is freaking rm4.O.O thank god i have some RM in my wallet. or else, no need to drink any water liao. oh btw, i actually vomited on the plane. 4 times to be exact. omigosh rite. like so terror. n it happened while the plane was landing. everyone was supposed to be strapped onto their seats but i couldn't bear it anymore, n ran off to the nearest lavatory,n pushed off a female air hostess who was doing her make up, n started puking..... n puked.. n puked.. =-=' GROSS

the plane landed 40 minutes later than expected. n we took off 10 minutes later too. Boo! my luggages only appeared after i waited at the baggage carousal for 30 minutes or so. "how efficient!" so many bad things happened to me before/during/after the flight. was telling myself, y am i going through all these ordeal? is it worth it? n wat a weather. hazy. the sight of pollution is apparent. n not to say, humid n freaking hot. n it was raining a few minutes ago. sigh.

was already half dead when i got my luggages. was so weak n baffled with everything. but as soon as i saw my baby in the arrival hall, my face couldn't resist to smile. hugged baby dearly. didn't kissed him though. LOL. y ah? cos i puked wat..and didn't had the time to go to the toilet to wash my mouth. both of us kept talking n laughing, n i've forgotten bout my tummy upset, my nausea, n my headache. forget bout the bad experiences i had with airasia.. all i want to do in these 5 days is to enjoy.. spending my time with my friends, family n calvin. :)

P/S: actually after the puking, i wanted to have a drink. but the air hostess said that i need to purchase them. SO CAN DIE!

gonna fly in another 2 more days! ish! so excited! am very busy lately, just had my exercise physio exam today. n tomorrow, i have a medical physio quiz. haiz. n by right, i should be working tomorrow.. but i really need some time to pack my stuffs n buy some gifts for my friends n family, so yea, told my SUPER NICE manager, Matt, and he say, yea no problem~. so nice!! :D i actually tot he might not be happy because i didn't tell them bout this earlier. but heh. :) guess he's in a good mood. n oh oh~ i asked him if i could work on next wed (a day after i reach brissie), because it was EKKA day, which is a public holiday here, hence the pay will be x2 or is it 2.5? which fuyoh, damn extremely high k?.. n he say yea~ no prob. LOL. SO NICE, CAN!?

on the day she reached brissie, she went straight to nutrition science lecture, without any sign of fatigue on her face. so shocking that she actually made it to the class cos she actually touched down brissie at 11 am plus n the lecture class starts at 1pm. if i was her, i would have just slept till next day. class? what class? lol. jet lag jet lag. +_+

lecture afterwards, we went to Global Burger, which has just opened a few weeks ago. kinda liked the names of the burgers, they are based on names of different states and countries, bangkok, sydney, gold coast, n etc . interesting hey~

however, disappointingly, the burgers weren't any special at all. nothing to go GOO-GOO-GA-GA over. n certainly, i will choose mcdonald's burgers over theirs. hehe. mc d rox! lol

haven't seen bel, cindy, sky and eldwin eversince the sem break started. miss em loads. T_T boo hoo. they went to melbourne without me.. haha. my fault actually. nvm guys. i'll join u for sydney trip or sumwhere else. lol. so anywayz, we met up on Friday and had lunch in Pancakes Manor. it's my first time there. omygod rite. i've stayed in brissie for a year plus already n haven't been to pancake manor. how can? it's just like being in melaka, n haven't tried satay celup. lol.

i was pretty excited when i got there. the place is a lil small though. i guess the place used to be a church. look how dim the place was. really gives me church-y feeling. lol. i liked how they situate the bar, right in the middle of the dining area.

though the place is small, i sorta like the place. the ambience was great and along with great company, lol it was perfect.

n oh, did i mention the food was awesome? i have this thing for sweet stuffs, unlike sky and bel. hehe. we ordered waffles with blueberry, since bel never had em before.

we also ordered The Ultimate, basically crepes filled with cream cheese, sultanas served with vanilla ice cream. (yum! it's truly the ultimate dish! cos it's really filling. made me feel very bloated. prolly becos of the cheese).

and last but not least, mushroom crepe, which is so-so, it came later than the waffles( our dessert), n it doesn't really blend well together. n prolly i was sort of in the mood for desserts only that day . sweet!.

eldwin and cindy joined us a while afterwards and ordered mexicana crepe (which is truly one of a kind, i liked it a lot), and pancakes served with ice cream and maple syrup. i didn't try it, though the pancakes are their signature dish. lol. so funny rite. it's like being in a famous chicken rice stall, and ordered duck rice instead. lol.

after having our lunch, i actually went to apply for a job at the pancakes manor. lol. just want to change my working environment. slowly getting disgusted with mc d food already. except for the fries!.. n the apple pies! n the fillet burger ! n the quarter pounder! n n n.. .. =-=''

not sure i'll get the job though. well, it doesn't really matter. it's just a job. not something i'm passionate bout. anyhow! next sem,i'm doing a volunteering work relating to my course. weee~~ jotting down information about pregnant mothers' diets and lifestyle, measure their heights, weights, BMI and etc. :) that's more like it. though it's a volunteer job, i can see myself doing this for the rest of my life than working in mc d. =-='

okay, so job application afterwards, we went strolling around city and bought *something* for pat's birthday, which is on sat (but i couldn't attend due to work) haih. work is really killing my social life. lol.

um. bout 3 plus, we took a bus from the myer centre (underground) to south bank, to catch The Dark Knight movie. actually i was not really anticipated to watch such movie.. as in, action packed, dark, solemn, deaths, good guys turned bad such movies u know? i was looking forward for humor ones. i was so movie deprived, i think 3 months probably? omygod. so many movies to watch!! but we ended up watching batman instead. haih. okla . at least now, nobody can say i outdated already. *dun mention bout hancock, narnia, get smart, kungfu panda, k* T_T

just before the movie started....

The movie, was.. okla, i confessed, it was good, BUT since i was already turned off from the start (like i said, i wanted to watch comedy ones), n it was a pretty long movie.. so i'll give it a 6.5/10. lol. actually, i do not mind if i don't watch The Dark Knight, as in, it's not one of the MUST watch movie on my list. i soo want to watch kungfu panda.. sob!! but!! i must say that, the death of heath ledger really triggers me to watch the batman movie. so that's the only reason i'm watching it. he plays very well as the joker. i liked the part how he kept changing his stories bout he got his scars. lol. it's a shame that such a talented actor died due to drug overdose.

2 and a half hours later, we walked around south bank, visited the night market, and bought some churros!! the 4 of em preferred the churros with cinnamon instead of whipped chocolate cream. everyone, especially eldwin was like teasing me, saying how bad my taste is. hence, we bought the two types of churros, and they lol, changed their mind and said the one with whipped chocolate cream taste much better. n not surprisingly, eldwin ate most of the choco cream. lol

okay, i sort made this post a lil way too long hey? lol..so anywayz, we then went to catch the citykat. it was sky's first time. we went all the way to Bulimba, which is bout 30 minutes away. pretty long hey. it was freezing cold that nite.

never been to bulimba before. n it was a food heaven there. so many restaurants located along the streets. turkey, indian, seafood, western, n etc. we settled down at a seafood restaurant, called Gethooked.

ordered everything fried lol! so unhealthy!!! n to balance it, we ordered a seafood salad. lol. it was only 4 of us, as eldwin has to leave to have dinner with his family.the food portion was huge, but remarkably we finished everything. except for the chips. just too many. =-='' the food was awesome, although mostly everything was fried, but really. two thumbs up. n guess which dish is the best? the seafood salad! lol. surprising le?

while we were busy camwhoring, Mcd called. =-='' . they asked me if i could work that nite at 10pm till 6am. LOL. i was overwhelmed actually. i didn;t know if i should be happy or hmm. cos this week i didn't work a lot, hated the shifts that were given to me this week. only worked 10 hours. reluctantly, i said yes, but told em that i will work from 12am instead. lol cos, it's already 8pm that time, n i really need my rest lei. =-='

as dinner ends, we headed back to city, using the citykat. as i hugged bel good bye, i saw Krispy Kreme and thought to myself, like, i think i should buy a few for my colleagues in mcd. it's pretty late, and everyone's doing overnite shift. n it's friday nite!! guess they deserve some rewards heh? lol. n myself also ler.. LOL. so yep, i bought 6 and everyone in mc d during tat shift was pleased with the doughnuts~ :)

n yeh, i actually worked from 12am till 7am. crazy heh? n the next day, i worked from 6pm till 2.30 lol. haih.. uni is starting next week! omygoodness!!

when jarrett koh posted a msg on my facebook telling me that he's coming to brissie, i was beamed with surprise as i have not seen him for ages! bout 6-7 years i suppose. man, how time flies. but he still looked the same lor. in fact, he looked like the kungfu panda... because of his apparent dark circles under his eyes. lol. oh, n he's as blur as usual la.. but i realize that he's more talkative compared to last time. which is a good thing. i'm not saying that he talks a lot of bullshit.. but interesting topics, such as studies, investments, relationships n the list goes on. i really had fun catching up with him although it was just for a mere 2 hours.

i guess everyone has read bout the catfights between xia xue and dawn yang. it all started when xiaxue blogged bout her hatred towards dawn 2 days ago. i found the "revelation of feelings" quite absurd actually. mainly because of the pics that i saw during nuffnang's pajama party a few months ago. like this one:

actually i knew that both of them weren't close, but didn't know that xiaxue hold such grudge towards dawn. i mean, yes, it's hard to be nice to someone that you dislike. but if that's the case, from the start, xx should have told dawn how she felt, instead making such a hurtful post now. prolly to xx, it's better late than never.

also, she can always email her in private or sumthing. BUT that's so not xx. n it's her blog anywayz. it's her freedom to post anything in her blog. so that's that. but i think she has gone a lil too far(?) prolly becos dawn sued xx. hence, made xx's blood boil even more. n that actually made xx to blog everyday now. (that's VERY peculiar, wei)

dun get me wrong. i'm not on dawn's side. in fact, i'm not on THEIR side.

dawn's problem is actually very simple. i guess prolly she's too spoilt? =-='' obviously she had plastic surgery(s) done. and c'mon already, just admit it. there's nothing wrong with going under the knife to make urself pretty. i mean seriously. it's not a big deal. teens in aussie n US does it(under 18) , super stars such as Gisele bundchen, n paula abdul do it as well. so it's really not a big deal!!!!. they(your fans) will still love you!! so dun worry!! the plastic surgery has done wonders to ur image, and i bet some of your low self esteemed fans would want to follow ur footsteps. instead of hiding bout your plastic surgery procedure, u should give them useful advises( which doctor did u went, the price, wat to do before n after surgery) but i guess, u really r ashamed bout ur plastic surgery procedure huh? but y?!?!? seriously WHY? wat's the hoohaa bout?

n bout dawn's attitude problem? that.. i'm not sure of since i have not met her in real life. but from wikipedias n forums, wat i can see is that, she's really desperate to seek for attention. i GUESS, at first, her personality wasn't like that until she got a lil famous from her blog. and from then onwards, she keeps wanting more n more. (this can be based on Maslow theory). n because of that, i THINK she begins to be arrogant n stuffs. n also, i think she's quite egoistic. i THINK (cheh, follow xx) she wouldn't listen to any bad comments about her. yea yea, i know most ppl who bad mouthed bout superstars is because they are jealous n stuffs. but somethings that they say can be true as well... u know..but rite, i THINK she will NEVER admit anything that she has done wrong wan lor. =-='' (well, that, xx is quite similar to dawn, lol.... i THINK).

actually i can go on and on lor. but then, haih, wat's all these la. it's never ending wan lor.

remember bout the overnite shift that i mentioned? worked from 10pm to 6.30am.(30 min extension to do some survey, how nice) and surprisingly, it's not as horrible as i expected. was widely awake throughout the shift, big thanx to red bull and V energy drinks. lol. it really works lo. i think it's way more effective than coffee. i can't really drink coffee btw, so thank god for energy drinks!! need em for exam periods. or else.. =-='

anywayz, after that long shift, i went to bed n slept till 3pm, when everyone started calling me incessantly bout cindy's bbq party that nite. lol. i was awfully tired but cindy's birthday wor, how can i not go rite? already missed shopping for cindy;s bday present and the bbq food. i am so no missing her bday party! thank goodness bel bought the exact same Guess bag that i saw in ebay the other day. it's like omygod!! i was speechless when bel showed me the bag, i was like, hey!!that bag!!! i actually wanted to buy that from ebay!! then both me n bel hugged each other like crazy, lol. =-=''

remember that i said i have 4 papers spread within 4 weeks? after every 1 or 2 papers, my friends and i will have a small celebration. in fact, we celebrated thrice, lol, and each celebration consists of food, of course. lol.

for our first celebration, which is after biochem's examination, sarah and i had nando's ! the nando's here taste the same in msia but the price..? TOTALLY DIFFERENT! a quarter of a chicken cost aud 10++ , which is equivalent to rm 30+ . omgod rite? lol. but sarah and i craved for nando's that day, n also after exam ma..*excuses* so.. we ordered the meat platter. =-= i forgot wat's it really called la. in short, the meal oni have meat la, chicken wings, half of a chicken and tenderloins. lol. it's really a lot. but the two of us manage to finish it. hoho! carnivores!!! i used my hp to take the pics de.. hence the small pics :)

2nd celebration, me, sarah, junior and cindy went to eat at Sitar, a Indian restaurant. 4 roti canai cost around 3 dollar. lol. okla.. but the curry is very pricey. aud 10-15 for a small bowl. VERY SMALL indeed. we ordered a few dishes only, just two curries, 8 roti canai (prata n something spinach*not bad* lol) , starter platter, and a bowl of yellow rice.(very nice taste wan). the roti canai also very different lo. bigger n a lil soggy. not crunchy. prefer crispy ones. my fave is the curry, the rice and the start platter. oh oh n we have complimentary papadum also!

last time calvin used to cook papadum n curry for me wan... missed those timess..

2 weeks of exams. well it's actually just 4 papers =-= but the exam dates were so messed up. so exhausting, know? sort of wanted to give up after the 3rd paper. but nola... i'm not that easily defeated. umph! :)

now that exams have finally ended, i can switch back to my relax mode that i yearned for months. this sem has been very hectic! no kiddin. it's a total whirlwind semester . and i foresee another one in next semester. cos next sem's subjects are mostly science subjects, which means more memorizing.(formulas, freaking absurd drug names, mechanisms n etc) i am so not looking forward to all of those nasty subjects. i am however, looking forward to 3rd year's subjects, mainly practicals related to nutrition, for instance, women's health n professional practice for community nutrition. less science subjects, more of managing nutrition projects. wee!!!! :) so much fun~

anywayz, holidays have started and i only have less than a month to enjoy em. like so unfair. y those students in sg have 3 months of hols wan? T_T how can like tat? sob sob! so how am i spending my hols? well, nothing much really . lol. was supposed to go melbourne. but i changed my mind n will be staying here and work instead. prolly some other time. maybe at end of the year, okay? sorry cindy and bel :) hugs!! u peeps have fun alrite?

must be wondering y this post only consists of words. =-=''the problem lies in my stupid internet connection. so slow that i can't upload a single thing with it. it was supposed to be refreshed like eons ago, but it didn't. the landlord said it was due to some unforeseen circumstances.. blalaalbala excuses la i really can;t live without the internet. and i'm hostile when my internet is unusable. like i have pms or sumthing. speaking of pms, u know i was so freaking stressed bout my exams that my menses came twice during my exam period. that twice within 13 days. =-='' n it diminished just a day after my final paper. absurd. =-=''

i think i'm really pressured bout studying here in aussie n really trying my hardest to achieve good grades. no time to have fun n etc. just study study, no fun. it's a like a responsibility for me to get good grades, as i would not want my parents to be disappointed in me. n since they have spent so much on my studies, how can i fail them, rite? n for my family, a pass is not enough. hai... n just the other day, my father told me that i can continue to study another year if i want to. (sounds unwillingly) initially i was happy but after a few moments, i was thinking, if i could go on like this for another 2 years and a half. not that i dun like the course that i'm doing, i love it. but.. like.. is it worth it? my parents have never wanted me to study this course. but because of my passion for it, they give in.. hai..so many frustrations, u know? n let's say i want to swap my course to dietetics, i will need to wait till early next year to know if i got in or not. wtf . and a lil bird told me that the GPA to enter dietetics might increase next year and looking at next sem's subjects, i might not be able to maintain my gpa. omgod. it's like as though God does not want me to study dietetics. it's like a sin or sumthing. maybe He wants to challenge me. wants to c how much i really want this.... haih.

anywayz.. just a few hours ago, due to boredom, i started blog hopping and a particular blog grabbed my attention. this gurl is really rich. i mean superbly rich. till the extent that she can have her very own HUGE (read: massive) collection of prada, gucci, lv and burberry bags. ok, i think everyone will surely say that i'm envy of her. but i'm actually not. instead, i despise ppl like her. mainly because she's unemployed( she's 21 n currently bumming around doing ntg) and she's using her family's money on those branded stuffs. i will not criticize her if she actually used her own money( as in work) to buy those branded stuffs. i felt that she is quite spoilt lor.' dunno la, for me, just does not seem rite to me.

yeap . exam's around the corner and i've been studying my arse off lately..yea just lately.. lol... damn. i procrastinate too much already! hai.. and i'm actually hoping that this sem's results will be better compared to last sem's. which is quite terrible. *finger crossed*

so many unhappy events have been happening in my life lately. just got to know that i won't be able to do another year here *that i yearn for so much* as the fees for 2010 will be $10500 a sem. like omygod rite? that's like a whopping $21000 for a year. O.O

friends have been telling me that it's worth it cos studying is like an investment and with the dietetics qualifications, it is easier to get job, the pay is higher n etc... but i just feel bad about it. it's just too expensive. well, i said to myself that after i graduate at the end of 2009, i will get a job n after a year or two, i might do masters or sumthing. prolly that's a better idea...hm..

doing dietetics is my ultimate dream.... but.. sadly, i can never achieve it..

actually wanted to cry so badly when i know about the bad news. but was in the city..tried very hard to hold my tears till i got into the toilet... and cried n cried. haven't cried like that for such a long time.. tears just kept falling ... whenever someone brought that subject up, i just can't help it..i will cry.. eventho i try not to....hai.. life goes on. :) be posimistic! a word that learn from tv. :)

so the next morning, we walked to the bus stop to go to uni and i realized that the 10 minutes walk was short. hmm.. weird rite.. that nite, the walk seemed forever yet in the morning, i felt it's quite short. anywayz, it was that day we were informed bout Dr Ron's brain cancer. :(

guess it actually dampens our mood a lil.during our journey to the Indooroopilly's shopping mall we were silent most of the time. we did however, ended up talking bout ghost n supernatural stuffs... which is sarah's fave topic. she really like ghost stories/shows! can be best buddies with my bf already. hehe. but nah.. i cannot.. i very takut of these stuffs.. *goosebumps*

upon reaching the mall, we went to grab something to eat. n that day, i craved for chinese food and so i got myself this!!

it's like economy rice la.. but very pricey indeed.. 8.50 dollar for a small plate.. but i think the ppl working there were very generous. i mean, look at my plate! it's overflowing with food. like mountain man..some of the food were falling off from the plate as well. but they didn't charge me extra wor.. :P n needless to say, the food taste awesome! well, not all chinese food in aussie sux. :)

remember me saying about how i dread to go for biochemistry lectures? how i complain / rant bout the way he teaches ? how he always laughing on silly jokes and tries very hard to make the lecture entertaining yet fails? (to me la.. not sure with wat the other students think).. well.. now i know y he is so happy all the time.. even it's biochemistry.. and that is...

he has less than a year to live..

it was shocking when Dr Lott, a substitute lecturer announce bout Dr Ron's brain cancer...

2 years ago, the doctor told him that he will have maximum 3 years to live. no one has ever survived from this malignant brain tumor. yes. zero. however, he thought he can be the first to fight this cancer...

and he thought he did..the tumor got smaller..and he continued his passion for teaching biochemistry this year.

however, just last week, he went for his usual medical check up and got to know that the malignant brain tumors have spread all over his brain.. n there's no way to remove them.. it's too risky..

i think he has already expected this to happen....

just so sad...

just that day, Dr Lott bought a

card for us to scribble down some messages for Dr Ronn... almost everyone in the class said get well soon n similar msges. which i think it's not the appropriate msges for him now...i mean i'm being realistic.! some on the other hand, said how much they appreciate his teachings n etc. how enjoyable they were n etc.

time passes so slowly ever since i handed up my last assignment that friday. yeap. zero assignment, zero presentation and zero quizzes left for this semester. phew!! except for my finals that is. my final examination timetable is horrible. 10, 11, 19 and 24th of june. sort of unhappy with the big gap in the middle. hate hate hate! oh wellz, at least that's better than all the papers squeezed in 3 days or sumthing.

now that i had everything done except for preparation for the finals, i feel so damn free!! for the 1st time this sem, i can breath again, like omygawd. everything's done!! after a day or so, however,. i begin to feel bored already. most of my friends still have assignments n quizzes. so cannot play with me T_T. bored to death.

dun ask me to go study k? so not in the mood for that .. just yet. :P

thankfully, sarah asked me to accompany her to go for a minor medical check up yesterday. phew! it's deep in fortitude valley n both of us have never been there before. feels great to explore new places. :) but there wasn't many shops or stuffs to c around that area. disappointed.

but we did saw a unique bakery shop in the deserted area. lol. the cakes there look lovely.. n not to mention, pricey. just look at those cakes! O.O

we did not expect that the medical check up will take such a long time so we decided to postpone our shopping outing to next day.

went back to city and were a lil hungry, so we went to dinner at a chinese restaurant that calvin and i used to go cos the portion is huge and the price is reasonable. :)

dinner was great. and were very full. but we were missing something. and that something was..

about 4 plus, most of the shops were closed.. but we were still in the mood for more fun!!! so we went for a movie in south bank. we wanted to watch iron man so badly but the showing times were a lil too late. we will have to wait another 3 hours or so for the show. so we opted for What Happens In Las Vegas instead. well, everything in the movie was predictable. but there were a few parts that were quite entertaining. not too bad la. :)

movie afterwards, we went for a stroll in south bank. it was only 7pm plus and it's already so dark. we then went to my place to get some clothes packed n etc to overnight at sarah's place. :P hoho. 1st time in her place :) cos she always told me that her area is creepy at nite..

omygawd.

what she said is true. damn blardy creepy.!! the 10-15 minutes walk back to her house felt like forever. there was nobody in the neighborhood. it's just silence. O.O however, once we reached her place, i felt so relaxed and homey. :) it's such a nice place ...minus the neighborhood. i like lo.. even i told sarah that if it wasn't becos of the neighbourhood area, i will certainly move in with her wan. ..

krispy kreme has opened for two weeks now, and the line is unbelievable. i tot this only happens in malaysia. on the 1st day it opened, i actually wanted to go n get my favourite blueberry glazed n chocolate ice custard filled doughnuts BUT.. the line was .. just.....way... too.. long!!!.. prolly more than 100+ customers. heard they were given free donuts for being so patient. O.O i was exhausted from my physio prac earlier that day, so i didn't get my donuts.T_T almost everyday, i will walk pass the KK outlet to c if the queue got shorter. but it didn't. =-='' so sad. just when i sort of forgotten bout KK, i met up with belinda the other day and she gave me a KK donut for free!! it reminded me how much i love KK donuts. YUM!

last tuesday, as usual, i walked to the bus stop at 6.50 am to catch the 390 bus to the city for biochemistry lecture that i dreaded the most. (cos i have absolutely no idea what the lecturer is blabbing about). halfway to the city, the bus took another route and i tot i took the wrong bus! n suddenly, it hit me! omygawd!! the bus route has changed since monday!! shoot! i forgot! n i was quite clueless of my whereabouts at that moment. =-='' should have read the booklet regarding to the route changes but i always procrastinate about it!!!

suddenly the bus stopped at "king george bus station". i was like , hey? isn' george st in the city? but the journey was like less than 10 minutes! usually it will take about 20-25 minutes to reach the city. so i hesitated a lil before getting off the bus.

thank god i was right! :) the first thing that i saw when i was outside the bus station was the Krispy Kreme outlet. lol. n surprisingly, there was less than 10 person lining up. :) prolly cos it's 710am in the morning la.. haha. so i bought 6 assorted donuts for 11.70aud. damn blardy ex rite? it'll be my first and last purchase unless got any special occasion la. :P cos a lil too sweet also. hehe.. n i can feel that my jeans got tighter T_T. not a good sign!! gosh!! sis's wedding is just around the corner!!! +_+.. really need to shed the extra pounds during the hols.or else..

anywayz, after getting the donuts, i went to uni and obviously, there wasn't many ppl there. the students here tend to be late to classes. =-=' even the last 30 minutes of the lecture, there are still ppl entering the class. like watever for? =-='

as i entered the lecture room, there were only 5 students inside, including sarah and a crazy dude. lol. there's this crazy dude in my biochem lecture that always play his loud heavy metal music on youtube using our large lecture theatre screen. u know? then once, i saw him jumping around the lecture hall like siao lang like tat in front of me n few other students. lol.

sarah was sitting there in lecture room n she looked so pale. but as soon as she saw the krispy kreme donuts, her face litted up! like instantly. haha so next time, u wan to make her happy, just buy her kk can already. no need lv, tiffanny or watsoever :P

i'm very good in procrastinating my work. my assignment is due this friday and here i am, bloggin. n before this, i was watching 6 episodes of anime (sort of like naruto), went to coles to buy some groceries, and was viewing kennysia's video bout his attempt to do the bigmac chant. he's genius i tell u. didn't know he'll go that far, the toy guns, the costume n the mask. lol. hilarious.

i think the person who was serving "saddam" was frightened at first, tot he wanted money or sumthing, like robbery la. lol . oh oh did u saw the malay lady's face at the end of the video? lol.

this happened eons ago. haha. nah. just a few weeks ago. dun blame me for not updating, k? my internet failed on me for the entire week. so frustrating. i am so super obsessed with the internet. it's like an addictive drug or sumthing. just felt agitated if i'm not online. not like i chat a lot. but just. hmm.. being online made me feel that i'm not alone. omygod. i'm talking like some psycho person. anywayz. back to buddha fest.

it was an impromptu decision to go for the fest because i have work in the morning till 2pm that day and cindy needs to head back home by 4 pm. which means i will only hang around the fest for only 2 hours. however, an hour before going to work, i decided to go for the fest. hey, it's been a while since i had fun or sumthing. i should enjoy myself .. reward myself for working & studying hard even it's only for 2 hours. actually my manager wanted me to work overtime, but i said NO! haha. i said NO to an extra 34 dollars. =-=''

after 4 hours of work, i jumped on the 345 bus to south bank and realized that the weather was freaking hot. i was wearing a light green jacket at first, but took it off afterwards . never crossed my mind that i will took it off actually as i was only wear a spaghetti strap. but it's freaking hot la. n if i wear the wool jacket on, everyone will surely think i'm sick or smthing. so um, dun la ejek my fat-ness in the pictures below T_T *heart ache*

and we walked around the fest to get something to eat. YEAP. the main reason that motivated me to go for the fest is the food. CHINESE food!!! let me rephrase. it's OVERPRICED VEGETARIAN CHINESE food. haha expensive.. bout aud 6 dollar for any meals.. like laksa la, curry mee n etc. and 1 dollar for a curry puff, hot dogs, n etc. vegetarian cos it's buddha fest ma. buddha dun eat meat. .. :P now u know eh? we were arguing when we purchased some meat-look-alike food(looked like popcorn chicken). so sky decided to ask the lady working there, and then she confirmed that everything sold that day were vegetarian. but the dim sum n hot dogs certainly tasted like meat. hm..

my com was attacked by virus a few weeks ago, due to my stupidity. never ever open files from msn, no matter who that is, ur laogong , laopo, mistress or whosoever. ( no idea y did i mention mistress~wtf) just don't! ~ cos if u do.. and if u're a noob in computers (like me). u'll have a major headache trying to fix it. thank god~ everything's ok now.. but i still can't use mozilla firefox and IE. everytime i use em, the com will hang and once, i nearly exploded that i SOOO wanted to throw my laptop away!! T_T nola, i didn't do that. so instead, i deleted both of the internet browser and downloaded Safari ~ well, so far so good. no stuck no nothing. n i find safari very user friendly and the fonts are very cute. similar to comic sans. :)

i'm quite unhappy with qut. y? cos other unis have a week off after the mid semester exams while we have NONE. so unfair. that one week of rest is vital for us, students, as exams really do sucked up most of our energy. we're ain't robots, u know.

so, left me sarah Belinda n sky. We went south bank to have a stroll and stopped to watch a performance near the man made beach. It was entertaining and both me n sky contribute 5 dollars to that guy. Cos he’s really good. n funny. lol

Suddenly, it started drizzling. On and off. Like every 5 minutes there’s rain, and a few minutes afterwards, no more. And so on and so forth. Irritating.

as we reached the city, I was surprised to see Claudia. I met her through blogging. It was our first time meeting in real life. ahaha haha wat an outgoing n funny person. Was telling me she just got off from working and wanted to go to the toilet badly haha. Like so cute. Am looking forward to c her again ~ ~

around 7pm, we met up with soo hui and Johnson.. and they brought us to some fancy dinner in woollonggaba. The food ain’t cheap. And the portion is quite small too. Except for sky’s kangaroo meat. Taste like beef. But soft. Everyone was like giving food around the table because expensive ma, so must try everyone’s dish. . lol.

After lunch, sarah, me, junior, sky and Belinda went to south bank to catch a movie.too bad cindy and eldwin have to go for work and peggy and carol have to go home. T_T

It’s been a while since I last watched a movie. phew~The last movie that I watched was CJ7. that was like 2 months plus ago. So outdated liao rite. Actually wanted to watch “ the untraceable” but apparently it’s not shown in the south bank cinema yet. So we opted for the spiderwick chronicles instead.. And sky paid for everyone’s tickets. =-='' wat’s wrong with the guys that day. so.. gentlemen. T_T touched.

We had an hour or so to kill before the movie starts. hence we went to Batavia to have a drink. calv always mention about this place de. It’s like a kopitiam but in a elegant sophisticated kind. :P

sky and I ordered the ice vanilla chocolate chai tea. I think tat’s wat it’s called. told u my memory sucks. Physio exam has taken most of the space in my brain already. Anywayz, this place ain't an ordinary cafe, ya know. like for example. for sky's and my drink, we will need to add syrup sugar, milk and chocolate milk into the glass with ice cream in it...by ourselves!! :). I’ll let sky to demonstrate it.~

Am So looking forward for the next one!!

my 22nd burfday part 1

yesterday was the best day that happened this year. after physiology exams (which is do-able, xs y laugh la), sarah, eldwin, sky, cindy, carol, belinda, peggy, junior and me went to celebrate my belated birthday. at first, we wanted to have lunch in curry connection, an indian restaurant but it was closed.tot i can have indian food at last summore. i miss roti canai with dhal. T_T. since it's closed, junior recommended to try mexican food in taringa instead. never had mexican food before :) except for nanchos that is. taste awesome with salsa sauce. yum. :) me n calv used to eat them A LOT. n yet he didn't gain a single kilo!!! but i did..n more than just a kilo. so unfair. argh!. guys!

Realized that the food that I ordered were all similar. The colors n the taste are quite the same.

ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!

biochem exam's on tuesday and i'm so not prepared!!! Gah!!! n the lecturer told us that biochem is WAY easier than the previous chemistry subject we took last sem. bullshit. it's far worse thanthat. funny thing is, the duration of the exam is just an hour. enam puluh minit tau? like wth? with 2 short answers that is. 75 words max.*ok.. which is not long n not too short** no i dea wat am i trying to portray here* and based on the examples of the questions he posted online, its nothing close to wat i've read from the lecture notes. why then, did he created the lecture notes? he should have just emphasize about reading the text book only! which i .. erm. studied a lil..*guilty* it's just way too detailed n freaking long. i can't concentrate reading something that are long winded.. just isn't me. n yeap. u guessed it right. i'm not a reader. i dun read books. thick ones especially. nope dun read tom clancy. not even harry potter for god sake. there are some exemptions though. hm.. like romance stories, fairy tales like. n i dun like reading small letterings=-='' it will make the page looks confusing. and that will make me confused bwahahaha=-='' ok i'm full of crap. this is wat i get when exams are coming. hate it. n this is just mid sem. omg. finals how? O.O sure die. so not looking forward to it. i am however, looking forward for this saturday. weee! will be having fun the whole day after the test in the morning~ :) okla. need to get back to studying. freaking protein!!!!!

i'm a huge fan of " u think u can dance" ever since i watched the american reality dance show last year. this year, australia started their own version of " u think u can dance" and as expected, the dancers n choreographs were not as good as the ones in the US version. however, as the series progresses, the show got more entertaining, the dance moves, music n etc.. phew! and yes, i have a favorite.

was supposed to blog bout this eons ago. but ~~busy~~ hehe. must be damn bored with my excuses already, hey? :) i'm so sorry with all the lame posts recently. please bear with me, ya? :)

was in the city, like, 3 weeks ago? haha ya, i told u, it was LONG ago. there was a crowd in the center of the city and i went to have a look. and guess what did i saw?

when i first saw it, i thought, it will move or sumthing. but nothing happened!! i was like "huh? c'mon do something already!!" i know that "it" was obviously a person and not a doll or some sort. he did portray himself like a mannequin but i wasn't impressed at all.however, when suddenly a young lady donated a coin into his "donation box", he moved!!! in a robotic manner that is. he moved around his "square" platform, and took a "flash" picture of US, the crowd. n after that, he stopped again, with the same pose as before. and the young lady went to grab the picture that he took previously :) quite nice hey?

but he's creepy bah.. c c .. he's checking me out!!=-='' eerie nye.

OMY FREAKING GOD CAN!?

dun think i'll be able to celebrate my bday this year. well, i have never really celebrated my bday after i finished form 5. not really enthu about my bday as well. probably because i'm not in my teens anymore. just felt so old whenever i blow the candles. =-=''

anywayz, since u have seen my schedule above, dun blame me for not updating my bloggy k!! i'm just too busy.. way too occupied with stuffs that i didn't even have the time to have a proper conversation with my closest fren, ivy.

she actually could comprehend with her problems at the beginning. but one problem after another. the problems got more absurd and she can't seem to understand the root of the dilemma. it's getting on her nerves and eventually triggered her into depression. i wanted to help her, but i couldn't.. i was too busy. whenever she tried to talk to me, i will constantly replied her "sorry, busy ah". i didn't know that she was EXTREMELY UNHAPPY. i thought probably if she has more rest , more outing with friends, n etc, to keep her mind off, she'll be alrite. but i was wrong. her depression has gone to the extend that she'll do crazy things to herself. for example, look at her blog. that picture. do u know wat is that?

yes. it is wat u think it is. i was so dumbfounded when she told me what she did. i couldn't believe that the ivy goh that i know had done such a thing. she has always been the happy go lucky one, crazy, realistic, outgoing, and who can forget her laughter. the unforgettable laughter that never fails to put a smile on my face. :)

there's nothing much i can do, but i hope that u can wait for me till august. i;'ll be back for a couple of days & i hope that by then u're ur happy self again. and i mean real happy n not fake ones. do not do any stupid things again cos if u do, i'll be so frantic and will totally blame myself for the rest of my life.T_T. so.. ivy, be well...stay strong!!

my life has been a whirlwind lately. tonnes of work to do, assignments, study for quizzes, consistent revision, preparing notes n obviously, work. and now, i'm still wondering if i should work more hours.. reason? need more cash lor!! :) haha . but hm..with exam looming around the corner.. i think it's unwise to work that much. T_T but the pay.. is just so.. tempting.. :)

we went to harbour town 1st, to have our brunch. it's my second time coming here, 1st time was with him. :P and guess wat? my friends and i chose to eat at Noodle's now, which i ate with my bf when we were in harbour town too~! hehe remember their menu? they have nasi goreng melayu, but with pork inside. +_+'' that day i have cravings for western food, so i tried their fish n chips. and .. the fish is so damn small lor! so pathetic. but very generous with the fries. but not really a fan of *fat* chips, prefer thin ones, like mc donald's.

in harbour town, i didn't really expect much shopping there because, remember? i didn't buy anything except for a big tee for my mummy last year. after walking around for a few hours or so, i finally bought a pair of shorts from jayjays, cost aud10 oni.=-='' i actually saw a pair of sport shoes in nike, and they have this sale, buy 1 get the 2nd one for 50% off. however, cindy and sarah wanna buy shoes as well. so i backed out. anywayz, it's unnecessary to get a pair of sport shoes now since my pair at home is still use-able.

after walking out empty handed from the nike shop, i was quite upset. in the midst of complaining about how unlucky i was that day, i realized that i was not holding any plastic bag.... ARGH MY JAYJAYS SHORTS!! so quickly i stormed back to the nike shop and thank god, it's still there. -0- hm. i think if this happen in msia, i'll surely lost my stuffs for sure. heh.

i miss yuri a lot lor. calvin have not shown me any yuri pics or videos for a few weeks already and i got suspicious. i thought yuri might have died. =-= hahhaa because with his hectic schedule, he won't have the time to play with yuri wan, hence i think she died of boredom. won't die from hunger though. every time i tell him not to abandon yuri, calv will say, where got? i got give her orange, i got give her apple n etc. the only entertainment for yuri is the different variety of fruits for her meal. as a result, she got fatter. :) i really wanna see her pics~ i wanna c if she obese or not! hahaha =-= ask him to buy the wheel he dun wan.. =-=

today morning, everything was going great ~ interviewed with our key informant for the assignment and did some interesting activity. she asked us to get an item from a bag, and associate the item with breastfeeding. for example, a baby doll holding a bottle. it shows that people are more exposed to bottle feeding than breastfeeding. if we were to ask the primary school children to draw baby drinking milk, they will be more likely to draw a baby drinking milk from a bottle than from a mother's breast.

she also told us some interesting facts too, such as a ten days old baby's stomach is the size of a golf ball. haha. at first, i tot the golf ball resembles the size of breasts, as the size of a woman's breast does not determine the amount of milk. so haha. i kinda burst up laughing la.. well, not really la.. just giggled.

SO ANYWAYZ, after the interview, sarah followed me to mc d, and we were like talking random stuffs bout everything and also bout me working in mc d. saying how happy i am, etc etc.

when sarah left, things started going haywire. the back area was in chaos. thursday( today) seemed like the weekends. there were lack of staffs and so i need to do everything fast fast fast. pronto. i did a good job making the burgers as quickly as i can. but when one of the staffs left, everything went havoc again. there were too many customers, too many things to be done, other than making the burgers. i am still a noob when it comes to doing other things like the grill and cooking the meat. usually other guys will do tat. they will always ask me to concentrate in making the burgers only.

but since it was a busy day, things are a lil complicated and i was asked to do other stuffs that was not taught before. but i tried. i really tried my best. but it wasn't enough. my colleagues weren't pleased. to make things worse, i was accused for doing something that i didn't do. and it really made my blood boil. seriously. when i finished work, i tried to cool down, and tot of discussing with my manager bout giving me more extra hours to work. from the way she replied, i think i am less likely to get any more working hours. wth? i am only working 6 hours this week. * yes, i did say i'm busy, but i need money to pay off my rent each week as well, and 6 hours a week is definitely not enough* maybe i should find another job!!! ARGH!!!! :(

with all the frustrations today, i tried to make myself sane by indulging a chocolate cheese cake from mc cafe. it was suppose to make me feel better. but it didn't seem to do its trick. hours later, i slowly settled down ................. BUT a conversation with my course mate just made me devastated again. it wasn't his intention to do so. he's just being his blur self. he told me that he got perfect results for the quizzes and thought i got perfect too. n no, i didn't. i actually didn't think my results were that bad until he said," i'm sorry to hear that. next time don't do that again, okay?" i was dumbfounded. i was.. haih... i am a kiasu person la, k? i just dun like to lose, dun like to get bad results, i like to compare with ppl's results, n etc. I AM NOT A SINGAPOREAN SUMMORE!!! i know it's bad !! VERY BAD!.. :( i need to change.

it was very crowded in the city and it did not surprised me a lil bit. it was announced that the very 1st krispy kreme outlet will be opening early april, and today, they had this small charity event for the leukemia foundation, breast cancer awareness, n etc. but i was not there for all of the above, i just want the free donuts.!! yeap!! free original glazed donuts! sweet!* i bet everyone was there for that purpose too!!

the last time i had em was a few months back when alvin brought 3 dozen of assorted kk donuts from melbourne, during his visit to brissie. GAH!! 3 dozens, know?? and i think i had 1 dozen of em. prolly more. +_+ so yea, basically i've tried each and every flavour of kk donuts! n my fave is the chocolate ice custard filled donut! :)

KK is so popular in their neighbour states, VIC and NSW and now Queensland!! :) actually, i have this dream to open a kk franchise in malaysia but it's not feasible to do so. too expensive. about USD 1million wokie?! FREAKING EX! and now that we have jco donuts, big apple donuts, yee's bakery donuts in msia already, i bet ppl are sick of donuts already. am i right? unless i can invent a donut that can assist in weight loss, burn calories n /or reduce acne. wahaha!! i'll be a billionaire!! okok. dream on...* slaps self*

speaking bout my job, was so furious with maccas when i realized i was taxed 96 dollars from my pay. freaking 96 dollars kay? =-='' it was due to some miscommunication with my previous manager and i didn't provide her my TFN. good news is that during june/july, i'll be able to retrieve it back, but i'm still unsure of the procedure. soo hui, we go get our tax money back together wokie?

also, i just checked my bank and i realized i actually got paid for working in oporto for 3 hours. guilty guilty* :( oh well, life's good in maccas anywayz. my wage is higher now, and making burgers are as simple as 123. :) coping really well now. thought of doing some volunteer work in the hospital next sem though. dun wan to stuck in maccas doing unrelated things with the course i'm studying. hope i'll be given the opportunity to work in the hospital, helping out a lil. don't really mind about wage because i know that getting a job in the hospital is not an easy task.

was supposed to study for my physio quiz and practical for tomorrow but my head's a lil heavy. kinda unwell today, mainly because i didn't sleep well yesterday, was tossing n turning thinking bout stuffs. it's not really unnecessary stuffs, because it has something to do with my future. my decision will change everything. and i will have till june to give my answer. should i study here for another year? doing placements? and get a pr in aussie? or should i fly back to msia after i graduate and work there permanently?

i really love brissie. will certainly be on top of the world if i can work in aussie. but.. without my bf here, my life will not be whole. n yes, my major frustration is not having my bf here in aussie with me. this is really absurd for those ppl who knows me. ppl who knows me will certainly think i was joking. i tot i can cope in brissie alone too. but i was wrong. everywhere i go, watever i do, watever i see, i think of him.

don't get me wrong, i will definitely finish my degree here, just unsure where should i do/ go next. he's the only missing puzzle in my life. i can't believe that i actually miss him this dearly when we're just apart for merely a month. i tot by keeping myself busy, working like crazy and doing consistent studying can make me think of him less.. n yes, it did help.. a lil. weekends are the most torturing days ever. we used to go market together, sometimes bake, and from time to time, we'll go n discover something new in other suburbs in brissie. so much fun n etc. n now, he's not here anymore, my weekends are pretty dull, watching the tv most of the time and GAH! playing tetris!=-='' * i have friends to go out with, but they have their own commitments and stuffs, so wouldn't want to interfere with their plans and so, i only have me, myself and i to go out & to do stuffs with, which is quite boring. so i rather to be in my small lil cozy room.

i have a surprise for my readers and i've no doubt that a number of u will have ur jaw dropped to the floor, gasping in awe. after just working in Oporto for just A DAY, hmm, well not really, cos my shift is just 3 hours. =-='' so yea after 3 hours of working in oporto,... i quit the job. NONO it's not like wat u think. ur mind must be flooding with these thoughts, " omygawd, wat the hell is she thinking? tot she said getting a job in brissie is hard n watsoever? this gurl must be a princess, seems like she only want to do easy job. hmph! abhore such person!"

the thing is, yesterday, my fave Mc D manager, Kristie, called me to work in mc d again!! and i was asked to start work the next day. i was a lil stunned by that call. i was supposed to work in Oporto on that day as well. after contemplating for a short while, i decided to quit oporto and work in mc D instead. wasn't really a tough choice to make as being a mc D staff has many benefits, such as : having 50% discount for all the food items there, including the ones in Mc cafe, having some familiar faces working with n around me, having a nice n understanding manager, having to only walk to mc d in less than 5 minutes, and most importantly, the pay is rewarding. :) which is a PLUS PLUS!

however, i need to make a call to my oporto manager bout me quiting the job. i dread for this moment because i hate to let ppl down. but then again, i've only worked for like 3 hours only.. and i didn;t learn much bout making oporto burgers or frying the chicken n etc. i did more of cleaning , tasks that weren't hard to do at all.

time is crucial as it was already evening and informing her bout this late might freak her out. but i said to myself that if ever she say NO! U CAN"T DO THAT!. i will give in. cos i was at fault.

calling her was like a daunting task to me. after she said hie to me, i kept talking, with the word sorry in between each sentences. i kept apologizing and finally, i asked her
" will that be okay?"

her answer?

"CERTAINLY NOT! "

knowing she was pissed made me feel guilty even more. *i should be expecting that* but i really need to take a lot of things in consideration as well. maybe i;m just being selfish... well, wat's done is done.

today was my 1st shift working in mc d again, and it was fun! i certainly missed the environment there. was a lil confused with the newly introduced burgers, about 3 of em. some mc delux thingie. =-='' dun think msia have those. the others were alrite. altho i did make a few mistake every now and then. how can i be so DoiNk to put ketchup on fillet burger!! haha i was laughing to myself when i did that. just so weird. if i serve that fillet burger to my calv, surely he'll go " WTF?" . his fave mc d burger is fillet :)

at 3pm, my colleagues' shifts ended and i was left with staffs that i've never met before. both of em were brothers. both have big blue.. but eerie eyes. not friendly and their mouth were sewn shut. they didn't speak to me at all during the entire shift. tried everything to make them to like me, well at least, to talk to me. tried smiling.. A LOT, tried helping them, tried to start a conversation with them, but everything failed. i surrendered.* raising the white flag*. thank gawd the manager let me leave earlier today, at 4pm. or else, it 'll be another 60 minutes of silent treatment. =-= most probably they despise asians. i really really think so. hm..

during my 4 hours of making burgers, i was contemplating which burgers i should order later when my shift ends. knowing the ingredients in the burgers is definitely an advantage.. so that i can make a healthier choice~

Bah! at the end of the day, i bought cheeseburgers, 2 in fact.. and a frappe mocha latte..

finally, i mean finally... i'm cooking again!! i am sick of eating cup mee and pasta almost every day , and wouldn't want myself to be malnourished, which kinda contradict with the course that i'm studying =-=''' my aim is to promote health and not condemn health.am such a health & nutrition & fitness lover! can't wait to work as a nutrionist/ dietician in the near future!! *beams!*

anywayz, back to cooking. actually, i wasn't prepared to cook today. but since there was no tutorial class today( i was informed on that day itself) which actually ends at 6pm, i tot , oh well, i have so much free time, y not buy some ingredients to cook today?

i bought many stuffs from coles for cooking, such as: eggs, garlic, onions, chicken breast, butter sauce to marinade the chicken, n rice.. i think that's about it. yeap. it was heavy to carry it around but i'm strong... when it comes to food.. a lil sacrifice wouldn't hurt.hehe.

i was so hungry that as soon as i reached home, i started cooking the rice, marinade the chicken and slowly stirring the egg and mushroom together, to make a mushroom omelette. :)

would like to go for cooking classes when i got the time, maybe after i graduate. think it's important for gurls to learn how to cook. that way, u can cook for ur family, healthy and tasty meals instead of opting for junk foods n take away food. hmm i reckon i'll join the Cooking for 1 and 2 program next sem. :) i want to learn how to cook a decent meal!!!!!!!! oo and not forgetting, baking too!!

been busy with many things lately. trying to get 2nd hand books, desperate to swap prac classes, buying groceries n printer stuffs, catching up with friends, planning for melbourne trip with sin ye and classmates, finding a job n etc.

been so busy in fact, that ever since i touched down in brissie, the only places i've been so far are my uni, the city and my house area. and i'm back for like, 2 weeks plus already. adoi!

knowing that i'll be even more busy in the couple of weeks ( assignments, tutorials, presentations, quizzes, and WORK ), i asked sarah to tag along to go around south bank area and china town today. and the outing was superb!

i was elated that sarah accompany me today becos she's just so fun to be with. her smile! gosh!! *meltz*

speaking of ibis, they are quite cunning, u know. they are not afraid of humans at all. they will linger around ur table, hopeful to get a bite of ur meal. they aren't cute okay, if they r stray cats, like in msia, u might go " awww, so cute.. , nah! * throwing a piece of small chicken" . but ibis, no one really cares. therefore, they need to do some extra work to get food. for example, like today, a woman got up from her seat and left her chips on the table for less than a second, and suddenly the ibis jumped onto the table, and grabbed a few chips. SNAP! just like tat. before the woman can do anything, the ibis left already. =-='' cunning!!

woke up 5 am in the morning today.. omygawd!! class at 8 am but i need to go uni early to print some tutorial notes for that class. tot i could print at home but i lost my printer cable !! ARRGHH!!! was searching for it like crazy yesterday but to no avail. sob sob~:( will be going to harvey norman tomorrow to get a new one :( phew~

1st day of tutorial was okay lar.. made a few new friends. Susz's life is interesting~ she's 22, like me, and she's married for a year already ... to an EYGPTIAN~ :) kewl huh? i asked for her contact details and she hesitated a while when she wrote her last name ( her husband's last name). she kinda forgot. ahha. it was so hard to pronounce. elkhaligi. hhehe. she's from canberra btw. :) will be doing my group assignment with her and gem, who's 19 , living in cairns, doing Nursing. nice people .

i feel like i should take things slowly a lil bit and not think of studies + work that much cos they said tat i'm way too hardworking. yea i agree. i finished the tutorial exercises when no one did cos it was suppose to be done in the class and i kept asking questions regarding to the assignment which is due late may. =-=''

so anywayz, after class, i was suppose to go to the city get my cable.. but... i was ... lazy... cos u know.. 8 am class meaning, 6 am morning in msia. fu yoh!! my biological clock hasn't adapt properly just yet. it takes time, hehe. so went back home, and it was drizzling a lil ..signs of god wanting me to sleep even more.. hehe so i zz from 1130am till 4 pm. wtfish? =-='' such a piggy. argh.~ tomorrow i have another 8am lecture.. =-= damn.. really tak suka 8am classes !!!! :(

My internet went nuts for the past few days. I could not log in to msn, hotmail, my uni’s e-mail and virtual, facebook, basically anything that requires a password. argh! 3 days of hell. Thank god it's fixed and finally, I CAN BLOG AGAIN!! *beams* I just can’t leave my blog unattended when I have the time to blog. It’s just wrong :P

Yesterday, I pulled Sarah along to go to an event for international students in Brisbane City Hall. I read it on my uni website the other day, and was so excited bout it. The website mentioned that there’ll be loads of activities going on, such as taking pics with koalas, Australian rugby team n etc, aboriginal performances, step by step dance class, virtual golf and free bbq lunch!!

but to my dismay, there was NO SUCH THING! There wasn’t any koala!! except for koala plush toys +_+. No handsome rugby players, aii.. hehe , BORING performance, COMPLICATED dance steps, and.. worst of all.. there wasn’t any bbq lunch! THEY ONLY SERVED HOTDOGS!! OHMYGAWD!! I was so disappointed with the event, and was so regretful to bring sarah along. U can c her face looking like this -__________________-

We did stayed a while, watching ppl learning how to dance. It’s cute. There were many fast learners, a few slow ones, and 2 clueless ones(like me). and that’s the reason I didn’t join the dance class. :P i’m so hopeless when it comes to dancing.

And she was wearing a sleeveless dress summore.. weird.. sarah told me she saw something black black, tot wat was that. Hahah :P very lebat lor.. haha..ya i know, we very jahat. :P

both of us were very bored in the city hall, and so we went to the city to get gelato!!! :D soo many flavours to choose from. A few months back, there was this flavour tat I wanted to try. But it was too expensive to just TRY. Guess wat flavour? It’s CHILLI CHOCOLATE! With real chilli on it. Weird heh. Well, it’s not there now. Probably it’s not selling well? :P

i've booked my air ticketsto fly back to Malaysia on the 7th of August!!!and will be back in Brissie on the 10th. i know.. just 3 DAMN DAYS rite?!?! wat to do!! i'm clueless regarding to my next sem's timetable and since i;m a *good* student, i wouldn't want to miss any classes ma. *grins*

it's not all good news because the flight to msia is 840 am, which is real early for me to catch a train+ bus+ train to the Gold Coast Airport. and the journey back to brissie will be as exhausting too. but it's all worth it. for my sis's wedding!!! how can i not turn up?*winks*

:) anywayz, the price for the air tix have plummeted, rm 1800 to be exact, for return tix, including tax. it's like, oh my god, half price okay? *beams* oh yeah, i'm using airsia btw. :P

well, i have another good news !!! :P hehe. i've got a job!!! at aporto!! and the best part is that i'll be working with soo hui!!! *BEAMS* *BEAMS*. i think the pay is not bad, lesser than mc D though, but it's still reasonable. :) will be working on monday, wish me luck peeps!

HONG KONG -- Popular entertainer Lydia Shum died Tuesday morning after a long battle with cancer. She was 62.

Known for her chubby appearance and joviality, she earned the nickname "Fei-fei" (Fatty) and "Happy Fruit" early in a career that spanned nearly half a century.

Born in Shanghai in 1945, Shum moved to Hong Kong with her family soon after, and made her debut in 1960 as a film child star for the Shaw Brothers studio. She later ventured into singing, television drama and hosting.

One of the most celebrated and beloved comediennes and actresses in the Chinese-speaking world, she appeared in 70 films in Cantonese and Mandarin, and gained wide popularity with her comedic and hosting skills for the Hong Kong television variety show "Enjoy Yourself Tonight."

In 2002, she starred in the English-language sitcom "Living with Lydia" in Singapore, which was broadcast there and also in the U.S., on AZN Television.

Shum married Hong Kong television actor-singer Adam Cheng after a decade-long courtship in 1985. In 1987, she gave birth to a daughter, Joyce Cheng. Her marriage dissolved the following year.

A testament to Shum's iconic status in the territory, Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang expressed his sadness at Shum's passing in a morning briefing. He noted that her laughter accompanied many Hong Kong people as they grew up and called Shum's fortitude in the face of illness "a demonstration of the Hong Kong spirit."

Shum has long suffered from diabetes and hypertension and was diagnosed with liver tumor in September 2006.

both of us kept talking & talking, we couldn't keep our mouth shut. there are so many things to catch up with! i think we've not seen each other for probably more than 4 -5 years, tat's like after spm. woah.. tat's REALLY long rite? but she's still the same lor, :P still pretty and slim :P *not fat at all ah*

before meeting up with soohui, i was wandering wat language did we speak to each other when we were in secondary. i think it was mandarin... i wasn't sure so i spoke to her in english. hehe :P. i was surprised that she speaks cantonese with her bf, johnson. haha. i didn't even know that she and johnson can speak cantonese. =-='' my cantonese sux. very cha to the max. cindy! u promised to teach me cantonese this year !! :P looking forward to it :P

together, we distribute our cv everywhere, from restaurants to boutiques. i gave 20 away!! including yesterday's. really hope to get a job :( have our finger crossed. wish both of us will get a good wage job asap.

btw, we had lunch in wagamama. soo hui has never eaten there before and it was my 2nd time dining there. i liked the food there but it was quite expensive. However, since we're sharing, it's alrite la. and since we've not seen each other so long, forking out a lil more $$ wouldn't hurt. :P

nono. i didn't get a job!
however, i had a great time yesterday at the carnival in my uni.
but the weather was crazy, so unpredictable. was sunny when i was in the house. it drizzled a lil when i got out and as i reached the bus stop, in the city, it started to rain cats and dogs.
5 minutes later, it stopped. less than a minute later, it drizzled again.
thank gawd that the rain subsided when we were approaching to QUT.
the carnival was rather a small one. it's sort of a function for the newbies, to get to know more bout QUT, like their student guild, library, candy shop, club & society and etc.

wanted to queue for the candy floss. but the queue was very long. i didn't have any patience that day.
it was hard to breath in the carnival( not as bad as sg wang la, of cos) so we went into the bookshop to get our textbooks. but the textbooks were way heavier that we tot. so we only bought one lab manual. very thin one :)
it started raining again when we stepped out from the bookshop. sheesh
since both of us have umbrellas, we were still keen to look around the carnival.
many had left to the nearest shelter and so there wasn't any patrons at the candy floss stall. :P
