ivy's pre birthday celebration

a few days back, i traveled to kl central to meet up with ivy. it was just supposed to be a normal hang out, but to make things exciting, i tot of surprising ivy with a bunch of flowers, with a teddy and a small balloon in the middle.

actually, it wasn't wat i was aiming for. but i couldn't find any florist shop around kl central area that sells huge balloons filled with helium air. something like what elaine had bought for her mom's birthday. sweet! ish!oh well, the small bunch of yellow roses will do :)


when ivy saw me holding the flowers, she was speechless, in a laughing manner. haha. she said she knew that i'm getting her flowers, cos i asked her the day before if she mind being embarrassed in public. but when i actually told her my 1st plan, bout buying huge balloons instead of flowers, she slapped me on my arm and said " wooyoh! chi sin ah!! dun be crazy la!!" she was so relieved that the original plan didn't go well. :P .

since we're in kl central, we had our lunch in rasamas! i guess it's like an imitation of ayamas. just like juiceworks to boost. the food there wasnot bad. ivy persistently says that her chicken taste nicer than mine, while i think otherwise. :P percik nicer ler! i forget wat was ivy's chicken flavour. not nice not nice :P

after lunch, we traveled to raja chulan station by monorail, where ivy's workplace is situated. so convenient rite. not only the public transports are nearby, the popular shopping malls, like pavillion, low yat, lot 10 ,sg wang are just a few walks away. after ivy left, i went to pavillion ALONE! sobs! but the truth is, i like shopping alone. :P since i have never been there before, i tot of looking around there before going for some REAL shopping in sg wang n lot 10. as expected, the stuffs there are way too expensive, i can hardly afford anything from there... except for the food outlets at the lowest floor. :P

haih. never fails to amaze me.

i wonder y there isn't any queue for papa bread? so nice lor! in brisbane quite popular geh. at least there's a queue at busy lunch hours.

i had enough of walking in pavillion and off to sg wang. ahh.. this is more like my place. at least most of the stuffs here are within my price range. :P i bought 2 overpriced clothes for cny in less than an hour. and have another 4 hours to kill till ivy finish work. cis. since i didn't want to spend any more $$ on clothes that day, ( got to shop other days also ma), i bought the latest cleo magazine and had an ice blended lychee in coffee bean.




the lychee drink was extremely sweet!therefore, i asked the counter lady suavely if she can add a lil water in it. after waiting a while, my drink was still not ready yet. curious, i went to the counter n saw her making a new drink! omygawd! i got another new cup of lychee drink!! :P this time, it wasn't too sweet. she smiled at me when i said " VERY VERY NICE, THANX!" anywayz, the drink goes well with the whipped cream :P it makes the drink, fluffy.


time was ticking very slowly while waiting for ivy to finish work, if it wasn't for me, she would have worked till 11pm plus, but that day, she worked till 7pm. :) must be because i kept sms-ing her this... SIEN AH! DIE EDI LA! BORING LA! :P

for dinner, we went to Tony Roma's, a western restaurant. a lil like Chilli's, that's the ambiance i felt when i was dining in Tony Roma's. it was my first time there. when both me and ivy walked in, with flowers in her hand, the wait staffs looked at us, in a peculiar way.. and we both started laughing. shit!! they think we're lesbos la!! +_+ and as the waitress showed us our seats, we began to laugh even harder! i laughed till i nearly cried. lol .instead of giving us normal dining tables, she gave us the one where the sofa is in curve shape, so we can both sit side by side. u know, like damn romantic.( there's only one sofa at each table)

the portion is huge, and i recommend to only call one dish if there are only two of u. dun listen to the wait staffs. bluff ppl wan. :P

back at ivy's home, we had a mini bday celebration session. put 2 big candle at each of the secret recipe cakes. we sang the bday song, in a very fast pace and after she blew the candles, i started laughing and clapping, and shouted " let's do that again!!" lol. and we did. and this time, it was for my bday. kwazy.

the green tea cheese cakes taste like crap. it was so awful that i couldn't force myself to eat another spoonful. ivy agrees. just look at her.




btw, ivy bought me a Dorothy Perkins bag. lovely :) thanx vivi!! :)

my deepest condolences to the families and friends of victims in the recent bus crash. it was such a shame that the mistake made by the reckless bus driver results in deaths of 3 passengers, all in their early 20s. wat was he thinking, sms-ing while driving and speeding? they depended on him to bring them safely to kl, but he just took their lives away, just like tat, without any consideration. it made my blood boil even more when the bus company did not show any remorse or take any actions over this incident. don't they feel guilty at all? monsters.

since we can't educate the bus drivers, wat we can do is sign the petition. hope that this petition can prevent incidents like this from happening again.
