was in the city, like, 3 weeks ago? haha ya, i told u, it was LONG ago. there was a crowd in the center of the city and i went to have a look. and guess what did i saw?




when i first saw it, i thought, it will move or sumthing. but nothing happened!! i was like "huh? c'mon do something already!!" i know that "it" was obviously a person and not a doll or some sort. he did portray himself like a mannequin but i wasn't impressed at all.however, when suddenly a young lady donated a coin into his "donation box", he moved!!! in a robotic manner that is. he moved around his "square" platform, and took a "flash" picture of US, the crowd. n after that, he stopped again, with the same pose as before. and the young lady went to grab the picture that he took previously :) quite nice hey?



but he's creepy bah.. c c .. he's checking me out!!=-='' eerie nye.

i know that i was supposed to update my previous with a few of pics but i'm seriously very BUSY!! & this month is no exemption. below is the list of deadlines for assignments, exams, quizzes..and also my big day :)


april 14th : deadline for Matrix Table: epidemiology assignment

april 15th: biochemistry mid sem exam

april 17th: epidemiology quiz & also my birthday!! T_T

april 19th: physiology mid sem exam

OMY FREAKING GOD CAN!?


dun think i'll be able to celebrate my bday this year. well, i have never really celebrated my bday after i finished form 5. not really enthu about my bday as well. probably because i'm not in my teens anymore. just felt so old whenever i blow the candles. =-=''


anywayz, since u have seen my schedule above, dun blame me for not updating my bloggy k!! i'm just too busy.. way too occupied with stuffs that i didn't even have the time to have a proper conversation with my closest fren, ivy.


she actually could comprehend with her problems at the beginning. but one problem after another. the problems got more absurd and she can't seem to understand the root of the dilemma. it's getting on her nerves and eventually triggered her into depression. i wanted to help her, but i couldn't.. i was too busy. whenever she tried to talk to me, i will constantly replied her "sorry, busy ah". i didn't know that she was EXTREMELY UNHAPPY. i thought probably if she has more rest , more outing with friends, n etc, to keep her mind off, she'll be alrite. but i was wrong. her depression has gone to the extend that she'll do crazy things to herself. for example, look at her blog. that picture. do u know wat is that?


yes. it is wat u think it is. i was so dumbfounded when she told me what she did. i couldn't believe that the ivy goh that i know had done such a thing. she has always been the happy go lucky one, crazy, realistic, outgoing, and who can forget her laughter. the unforgettable laughter that never fails to put a smile on my face. :)


there's nothing much i can do, but i hope that u can wait for me till august. i;'ll be back for a couple of days & i hope that by then u're ur happy self again. and i mean real happy n not fake ones. do not do any stupid things again cos if u do, i'll be so frantic and will totally blame myself for the rest of my life.T_T. so.. ivy, be well...stay strong!!

my life has been a whirlwind lately. tonnes of work to do, assignments, study for quizzes, consistent revision, preparing notes n obviously, work. and now, i'm still wondering if i should work more hours.. reason? need more cash lor!! :) haha . but hm..with exam looming around the corner.. i think it's unwise to work that much. T_T but the pay.. is just so.. tempting.. :)



anywayz, there's this scenario in my head and i was wondering u ppl can help me out. let's say, if i just met a guy fren and we slowly got close, as in close fren, and i felt there's something different/awkward about him. like very suave, soft, and etc, characteristics of a gurl. i think he might be gay. how do i pop this bizarre question to him? like hey, r u gay? HAHAHHAHA.. or? hm.. and i'm really really curious!!!

we went to harbour town 1st, to have our brunch. it's my second time coming here, 1st time was with him. :P and guess wat? my friends and i chose to eat at Noodle's now, which i ate with my bf when we were in harbour town too~! hehe remember their menu? they have nasi goreng melayu, but with pork inside. +_+'' that day i have cravings for western food, so i tried their fish n chips. and .. the fish is so damn small lor! so pathetic. but very generous with the fries. but not really a fan of *fat* chips, prefer thin ones, like mc donald's.

in harbour town, i didn't really expect much shopping there because, remember? i didn't buy anything except for a big tee for my mummy last year. after walking around for a few hours or so, i finally bought a pair of shorts from jayjays, cost aud10 oni.=-='' i actually saw a pair of sport shoes in nike, and they have this sale, buy 1 get the 2nd one for 50% off. however, cindy and sarah wanna buy shoes as well. so i backed out. anywayz, it's unnecessary to get a pair of sport shoes now since my pair at home is still use-able.


after walking out empty handed from the nike shop, i was quite upset. in the midst of complaining about how unlucky i was that day, i realized that i was not holding any plastic bag.... ARGH MY JAYJAYS SHORTS!! so quickly i stormed back to the nike shop and thank god, it's still there. -0- hm. i think if this happen in msia, i'll surely lost my stuffs for sure. heh.

had dinner in sunnybank. haven't been there before. and that area was so chinese. =-= full of asians. everyone was speaking in canto or mandarin. it feels like i'm in msia again. in those hawker stalls. i forgot what was the restaurant called, but the food was delish. :) not bad la. it's been a while since i last had proper chinese food lo. :) miss it dearly.

i miss yuri a lot lor. calvin have not shown me any yuri pics or videos for a few weeks already and i got suspicious. i thought yuri might have died. =-= hahhaa because with his hectic schedule, he won't have the time to play with yuri wan, hence i think she died of boredom. won't die from hunger though. every time i tell him not to abandon yuri, calv will say, where got? i got give her orange, i got give her apple n etc. the only entertainment for yuri is the different variety of fruits for her meal. as a result, she got fatter. :) i really wanna see her pics~ i wanna c if she obese or not! hahaha =-= ask him to buy the wheel he dun wan.. =-=

today i'm working again. hopefully that guy dun work today. :(

blood boil..

today morning, everything was going great ~ interviewed with our key informant for the assignment and did some interesting activity. she asked us to get an item from a bag, and associate the item with breastfeeding. for example, a baby doll holding a bottle. it shows that people are more exposed to bottle feeding than breastfeeding. if we were to ask the primary school children to draw baby drinking milk, they will be more likely to draw a baby drinking milk from a bottle than from a mother's breast.


she also told us some interesting facts too, such as a ten days old baby's stomach is the size of a golf ball. haha. at first, i tot the golf ball resembles the size of breasts, as the size of a woman's breast does not determine the amount of milk. so haha. i kinda burst up laughing la.. well, not really la.. just giggled.


SO ANYWAYZ, after the interview, sarah followed me to mc d, and we were like talking random stuffs bout everything and also bout me working in mc d. saying how happy i am, etc etc.


when sarah left, things started going haywire. the back area was in chaos. thursday( today) seemed like the weekends. there were lack of staffs and so i need to do everything fast fast fast. pronto. i did a good job making the burgers as quickly as i can. but when one of the staffs left, everything went havoc again. there were too many customers, too many things to be done, other than making the burgers. i am still a noob when it comes to doing other things like the grill and cooking the meat. usually other guys will do tat. they will always ask me to concentrate in making the burgers only.


but since it was a busy day, things are a lil complicated and i was asked to do other stuffs that was not taught before. but i tried. i really tried my best. but it wasn't enough. my colleagues weren't pleased. to make things worse, i was accused for doing something that i didn't do. and it really made my blood boil. seriously. when i finished work, i tried to cool down, and tot of discussing with my manager bout giving me more extra hours to work. from the way she replied, i think i am less likely to get any more working hours. wth? i am only working 6 hours this week. * yes, i did say i'm busy, but i need money to pay off my rent each week as well, and 6 hours a week is definitely not enough* maybe i should find another job!!! ARGH!!!! :(


with all the frustrations today, i tried to make myself sane by indulging a chocolate cheese cake from mc cafe. it was suppose to make me feel better. but it didn't seem to do its trick. hours later, i slowly settled down ................. BUT a conversation with my course mate just made me devastated again. it wasn't his intention to do so. he's just being his blur self. he told me that he got perfect results for the quizzes and thought i got perfect too. n no, i didn't. i actually didn't think my results were that bad until he said," i'm sorry to hear that. next time don't do that again, okay?" i was dumbfounded. i was.. haih... i am a kiasu person la, k? i just dun like to lose, dun like to get bad results, i like to compare with ppl's results, n etc. I AM NOT A SINGAPOREAN SUMMORE!!! i know it's bad !! VERY BAD!.. :( i need to change.
i'm very confused now.. ........................................................

my group really had a bad start with the assignment because we were clueless with the topic and the tutor is no help at all. she told us A a few days ago, and today when i asked her in more detail bout it, she told us B instead. =-='' so kns, can?

easter is looming just around the corner, this thursday in fact!!! am really looking forward for it because easter means HOLIDAYS!!!10 days of HOLIDAYS!!!

1st krispy kreme in brissie!

it was very crowded in the city and it did not surprised me a lil bit. it was announced that the very 1st krispy kreme outlet will be opening early april, and today, they had this small charity event for the leukemia foundation, breast cancer awareness, n etc. but i was not there for all of the above, i just want the free donuts.!! yeap!! free original glazed donuts! sweet!* i bet everyone was there for that purpose too!!

i was waiting with anticipation to have my hands on Krispy Kreme again. was there for at least 35 minutes before they start distributing them. for KK i can, for JCo donuts, i cannot. :D

the last time i had em was a few months back when alvin brought 3 dozen of assorted kk donuts from melbourne, during his visit to brissie. GAH!! 3 dozens, know?? and i think i had 1 dozen of em. prolly more. +_+ so yea, basically i've tried each and every flavour of kk donuts! n my fave is the chocolate ice custard filled donut! :)



KK is so popular in their neighbour states, VIC and NSW and now Queensland!! :) actually, i have this dream to open a kk franchise in malaysia but it's not feasible to do so. too expensive. about USD 1million wokie?! FREAKING EX! and now that we have jco donuts, big apple donuts, yee's bakery donuts in msia already, i bet ppl are sick of donuts already. am i right? unless i can invent a donut that can assist in weight loss, burn calories n /or reduce acne. wahaha!! i'll be a billionaire!! okok. dream on...* slaps self*

speaking bout my job, was so furious with maccas when i realized i was taxed 96 dollars from my pay. freaking 96 dollars kay? =-='' it was due to some miscommunication with my previous manager and i didn't provide her my TFN. good news is that during june/july, i'll be able to retrieve it back, but i'm still unsure of the procedure. soo hui, we go get our tax money back together wokie?



also, i just checked my bank and i realized i actually got paid for working in oporto for 3 hours. guilty guilty* :( oh well, life's good in maccas anywayz. my wage is higher now, and making burgers are as simple as 123. :) coping really well now. thought of doing some volunteer work in the hospital next sem though. dun wan to stuck in maccas doing unrelated things with the course i'm studying. hope i'll be given the opportunity to work in the hospital, helping out a lil. don't really mind about wage because i know that getting a job in the hospital is not an easy task.
