fuh~ harbour town and mt cootha~!

yesterday, which was the day after i went to the casino, my baby, me, sahara, razeen, viki, ronnie, erwin and afiq had a tiring but fextremely fun road trip~! fuh! wat an adventure~

early in the morning, around 8+ am, we got our rental car, a 8 seater toyota car..a huge car for aud 119.+ for a day ..quite cheap heh? n it was in a very good condition :P



yippie~ mr erwin was our driver for the day :P.. erwin's sense of direction was superb! it's not like he drives every day in brisbane.. this is his second time and he can vividly know most of the roads to almost everywhere. wow... me? i think if i drive , we will never reach our destination for sure.. haha sure circling at the same spot for the whole day.. -_-''

our 1st stop was Harbour Town~ it's a town full of discount shops! XD i mentioned discount instead of cheap because although tommy hilfiger is having sales, it ain't cheap~ a fugly sweater cost bout aud 150 after discount.. ex ex~~! and the stuffs there are quite old fashioned.. tat's wat i think lar :P




oh ya~ that's our lunch in Noodle's Now~! yummy! i miss msian food~

after a few hours, my baby and i met up with the gang without buying anything,except a big tee for my mummy, cos there's nothing that i like there.. weird rite.. they have mambo 100%, esprit, ripcurl, quiksilver and other famous brands.. but nothing ... and i mean really nothing that caught my eye! but i did caught a cold though.. and it's really bad! the weather was cold and windy that day and it kinda destroyed my entire outing.. :(


around 6pm, ronnie suggested of going to the Pizza Gormet restaurant for dinner~ fuh~wat can i say. wat ronnie said bout the pizzas here were true!! all true!! they were unbelievable! we had 4 pizzas all together, each pizzas have 12 slices and we scoffed everything within less than half and hour~


the pizzas here are different than the ones if Pizza Hut's as their crust are very thin and they have loads of toppings..like huge prawns, huge tomatoes, calamari n etc... funny thing is that the pizzas have very little cheese... but i dun know y i like the pizzas so much!! weird rite? seriously~ i ate so many slices lor.. guilty guilty~ :( don't know wat secret ingredients they put in the pizzas.. cos not only the pizza taste great, my flu also got better :D

after dinner, we finally decided to have a look at mountain cootha.. when they said mountain~ i tot it will be very high..but it's not, more like a hill .. haha they should call it cootha hill :D~ anywayz, the place was very very cold.. cos we're wayYyY on top!! probably zero degrees.. can die~ i seriously cannot tahan cold lo! .. freezing!

i couldn't believe my eyes! it was soo beautiful ~ the colours, the lights,the shimmers in brisbane city from the mountain was fantastic! it's really pretty but it's hard to c from the photos.. :( it was unbelievable.!! how i wish i can show u ppl the view from mt. cootha.. !!! it was the best experience ever!!!

movie, party and casino~

wat a tiring day!!!! went to watch Blades Of Glory with vicki, ronnie and baby~ it's a very funny movie and i highly recommended it to those who likes comedy!! XD


the atmosphere of the cinema is great~ everyone was laughing their heads off at each of the funny parts of the show and also clapped incessantly when the male couple(will ferrell and jon heder) managed to pull off the *iron lotus* stunt!! haha really funny!

after the movie, we went to afiq's party in south bank. i love his apartment a lot! very spacious and modern..~and his balcony is huge!! it's as big as my room! plus, the scenery outside is so breathtaking!

not to mention, the apartment is situated so close to uni and also the city.. so convenient~ fuh! :) anywayz, bout the party, the food served was awesome! they have wedges, fish balls, pasta, papadam, roast lamb, baked chicken, and meat loaf!! :) i like the meat loaf the most!! it's so juicy and tender! :P i wish i could have more actually!! bluek~..

after that, we had a cake *i think it's coffee flavoured* for dessert!! oh my god! that's like the best cake that i have ever had! it's taste better than any cakes in secret recipe!! the flavour was rich and the coffee chocolate sprinkles on top were amazing!!! and i dun really fancy coffee flavoured cakes!! but this!! this is the only exemption!!

this is the first time i've been into the casino~ no.. i've not been into genting's casino before becos i was underage,.. i've tried so hard, i wore thick make up and actually looked like Wilma from the scooby doo cartoon!!! but still.. i couldn't get in.. sob! anywayz, here in australia, the minimum age to get into the casino is 18 years old~ yer ~ y malaysia so strict wan.. T_T
btw, i did not win anything... in fact, i lose about aud 20+ :( so sad~ nvm lar.. once a while~ but i didn't really explore the whole place yet~ so i'll surely go there again for sure!! hehe.. :) hopefully next time i will win some $$~ dun worry i won be addicted to gambling~ winks*

ordinary day

sorry for not updating lately... nono... i'm not busy~ but very sien.. very lazy to blog~ eversince the holidays started, i feel very tired and lazy to do almost anything.. for instance, a few days ago, i was suppose to go the market to buy some veges and fruits.. but i just couldn't get myself out of the bed.. and when i did.. it was.. already too late.. and as a result, my bf keeps on ejek me non-stop~ :(
eg: yesterday he talked to his mom on the phone and said
"that day lar~ got *someone* didn't go to the market, and now got no vege to eat".
walao. i damn sad lor~

anywayz, just wanna blog bout wat i did today.. well, nothing interesting actually, suppose to go for a movie wan, but couldn't make it for that particular show so we decided to just buy a kettle and go home.. i know i know.. my life damn happening :S

ingredients for the wantan's stuffing:

2 small chunks of chicken breast and 2 small prawns~ :)


mince the meats!

insert a 20 cent coin of the minced meat on a wantan wrapper and fold it into a rose bud~ hand dirty hard to take pics! sowie~

SHOP SHOP SHOP

went shopping today and yesterday~WWEEEEEEEEE~~~this is the first time i shopped here!!!i mean for clothes n etc~~ anywayz, i bought a thick jacket, a pair of flat shoes, a pair of leggings, a tube, a baby doll tee and eyeliner~all these for less than 100aud~ hehe cos i told to myself before that i will only use aud 100 to buy everything .. and i did!! XD

sales are really huge here~ if i worked part time here, i can easily buy those branded stuffs like Quiksilver, Billabong , Guess and etc.. they are so cheap lo..for instance, i saw a billabong purse that only cost aud 15! fuh! so cheap~ n i liked it a lot.. but if i buy it..i will exceed my aud 100 budget edi.. sob~ but it's really pretty....... hmm.. will think bout it~ bluek~! hehe~also,sales gonna end next week! fuh! when baby finish exam tomorrow, i wan to bring him shop for winter clothing also ...hehe..guys stuffs are SOSO cheap lo! those bulu bulu jackets for guys cost only aud 29.. but for gurl aud 39~.. yer so unfair!

by the way, yesterday i went to WEARHOUSE to get my jacket and a white tube and my baby doll tee. i saw their massive sales on TV ! and they even have their own website www.wearhouseforfashion.com.au i like their fashion a lot~ n quite cheap too. u should take a look at their website n tell me wat u think~

i've not worn any of my skirts for the past few weeks becos it's winter.. so its kinda inappropriate de... very cold mar..but!! with a pair of leggings, it's a different story~ u can wear them with miniskirt or short pants!! woohoo!! and it was on sale only aud 8~ XD happy~

yea, u can wear it like this~ so u won feel so chiilly... down there.. HAHA


i was lucky today, cos there's this shoe shop, NOVO in broadway shopping mall, and they just started their sales TODAY~ n so they still have a lot of stocks and i have so many to choose from.!!. i bought this for aud 30 :D

i know i know very ex in msia, but here in australia, it's consider quite cheap already. seriously, i went shoe hunting around the city, and this consider the cheapest and also suit my taste :) n it was the last pair for my size! HOHO!!


ppl in australia prefer to use eyeliner pencil that needs sharpening one.. i prefer the one sheryl introduced to me de... skinfood's eyeliner .. no need sharpening one.. it uses the same principle as lipstick~ get wat i mean? :D i can't live without eyeliner.. know lar.. my eyes so kecil.. -_-'' haiz~~in the end, i bought the eyeliner pencil and the sharpener for aud 5~ quite cheap heh?

i'm FREEE~~

fuh~ the final exam seems never ending... the duration of the exam was 3 hours, but i left an hour earlier, partly because i think the paper was quite oklar.. BUT the main reason that i left early was because of my flu!!! this is the consequences of sleep deprived, i slept less than 3 hours yesterday, and bathed at 5 am early in the morning.* i need to bath in the morning, it's like a habit or something, part of my everyday routine already* hehe..


After the exam, a couple of my uni friends and i thought of having lunch in the city! something different for a change! when we left the uni, it was again, DAMN BLARDY FREAKING COLD, and the wind is stronger than the one i mentioned in my previous post. FUH! i'm in brisbane right? NOT CANBERRA OR UK RITE? argh!! so cold.. bueh tahan. wat's wrong with the world !..fuh! aren't we having some global warming issues or something? if so, why is it getting colder wor? even baby say last year's winter is not that cold lor.. hmph! think i REALLY need to buy a few thick thick jackets already or i might freeze to death! oh ya ~ sales are on!! i might go shopping this week~~ WEEE~

when we reached the city, we're like half frozen~ haha.. nolar jkjk..u know it's so funny lor, back in msia , it's so warm outside and we'll stay in the shopping malls for the air condition~ but here,the weather outside is so cold and the shopping malls are warm, they on heater i think~ such a weird experience.. haha... anywayz, cindy brought us to eat WAGAMAMA~ a japanese restaurant~


there are so many varieties to choose from, noodles, udon, teriyaki, n etc, but sadly, no sushi~ :( the portion of the food was huge!! gasp! so i shared with karen :P we ordered a curry chicken rice(i forgotten wat is it called in jap, kinda fancy name), and dumplings for side dish~ it was quite expensive for me,cos i'm not working yet. the total price of my food was like 23 aud. for australians, 23 aud is like our malaysia rm 23. but for us, it's like RM65!! FUH!! freaking ex lei..but once a while, oklar, and i shared with karen, so divided by 2 . :).. i think i really need a part time job.. BADLY!

fuh! PUB 251 exam over!!! so relieved la.. since this is the only subject that i have to write so damn many blardy words..i think i have blisters all over my hands...just imagine writing incessantly for 2 hours and 40 minutes kay~~! think i puked more than 1500 words though.. siao meh? go n count one by one.. no time.. anything i can think of .. i'll just scribble it down.. yea WATEVER IT IS! consequences? untidy handwriting and a lot of grammar mistakes (blogging plays a big part in that actually)


doing this exam reminds me of Sejarah during SPM except that it's in English lar. fu yoh.. that one..i still remember, being in the hall, looking at everyone writing profusely on their papers..what a sight lar! so much to write but so little time..fuh! didn't know that i need to go through all that again in Uni.. blardy..


exam was.. so-so.. there were a couple of questions that i am not sure.. but overall it was do-able~ :D


i was soo hungry after the exam.. it was already 4 pm and i only had a glass of milk and a few pieces of chocolate chip cookies for breakfast.! fuh sure la damn hungry! n no ah.. i not dieting ha.. hao xin ah.. i'm just too stress ~ my hunger pangs eventually disappeared during exam periods. haha but it will reappear again, when exams over~ .. haha


so went to HanaiChi , a japanese food stall in myer centre.. very nice and cheap~~ i had curry chicken and bi had chicken katsudon ~


the curry chicken here very popular .. everytime i patronage this place hor, many ppl lined up to order this lo.. and c those red chilli pepper sprinkled on top? u can add it urself~ n i've seen ppl putting loads of it, until the whole top was covered with the chilli pepper.. HAHA.. crazy.. damn hot wei!!!


baby's katsudon~ a lot of fried onion at the bottom~~ i like~ :D a lot of seaweed right? he also dun eat wan la.. -_-'' yea he dun like to eat japanese food wan.. cham..

EXAM 2MorroW!

my gawd!! it's real! tomorrow's my 1st day of exam! gawd! i am so not ready! i should not have procrastinated my studies until this last minute!! .. but then again.. no regrets! cos i know if i could turn back time, i will surely do the same thing over again..shame on me..


so let's not waste any time now as.. time is very precious so i'll just make this post very brief..:D

tomorrow is my PUB251 exam. The one i was hoping to get a HD at first but now, i only can aim for a D.. let's not go to the sad part.. anywayz, this exam consist of 15 mcq questions!! yes clap* clap*.. n of course that's not all!!! i need to VOMIT out approximately 1500 words for 3 short questions and 1 essay.. When they told me about the short questions. The first figures that popped into my mind was maybe a few sentences, so probably 100 words? or less.........
BUT NO! it's about 250-300 words per short questions! and they call that SHORT? blardy.... needless to say.. the number of words to write for the essay are way beyond my capability..700 to be exact.. crazy huh.. cruel.. just so cruel!!...........

dim sum is one of my fave food too~ i like siu mai la, the char siu pao , the deep fried spring rolls, fried wan tan, the chicken legs and many many more.. my fave dim sum restaurant is the one in Ramada Hotel, my family used to go there every weekend. fuh!however, ever since we've moved to kota laksamana, we often eat at the dim sum place in front my house de.. du.. the one that opens only in the evening. :D very popular place to yam cha!
