jaecywong: saturday rendezvous

there have been countless plans to meet up with chin hong several times now and i finally rendezvous with him in sg wang last saturday .was so eager to see him because he just had his double eyelid done! when he called me the other day to tell me that he did the minor surgery, i was so shocked, my jaw dropped, picturing how he would look like. he told me he couldn't see for the 1st few days, mentioning how painful it was to even open his eyes.

when i told him that i saw an ad the other day on a brochure , bout a service that can create double eye lids without any surgery, pain free and cost only rm 200 plus instead of the whopping rm2k for cosmetic surgery, he was very upset. down in the dumps. but how on earth would i know rite? i didn't have the slightest clue that he would go under the knife for his double eye lids. i did acknowledge his craze for double eye lids during college, but i sort of tot that " the glue" to apply double eye lids has solved the problem. guess it wasn't enough. he said that applying glue was time consuming and when rain falls, the glue will wear off easily. ( speaking of which, it's raining cats n dogs outside.)

i wasn't pleased with the news at first, but wat is done is done. when i asked him y didn't he do Lasik surgery instead of double eye lids, he promptly answered that he's going to get it done after he graduate. =_= . timing was wrong lor, cos after he did his DEL, he can't wear contact lenses for a year, i think. and he always complain how un-leng chai he is with specs. wat la! :P

so that saturday , when i saw him, i could hardly recognize him. his body is perfect, as always, with broad shoulders and standing tall. his eye however, was swollen, like as though he was stung by bees. he said that the process of recovering takes a lot of time, so he asked me to be patient to see the final results. bout 8 months max! +_+ oklu. i guess the next time i'll c him will be like, 2 years from now. or maybe longer. cos this dude here is going to UK to pursue his pharmacy degree and will most probably be getting his PR there. and u know la rite, uk and aussie students can never meet one. cos when we're on holidays, they'll be having exams and vice versa. okok. hope by that time, i'll c a very leng chai chin hong okAY!?!?!

enough of DEL stuffs, lazy to blog about our outing that day. nothing much happened. just walking. walking. and more walking. and nearly suffocated in sg wang. HAHA. oo n i love the CNY deco in time square. the lion head is so huge!!
